I wish I knew. I am putting some films on DVD, but I only have 2 more hours to waste.

Hi,
First of all switch the computer and TV off and forget them. If you can switch your phone off, better still. Weather permitting go out for that walk you've promised yourself. Call in and say hello to an elderly neigbhour perhaps. If the weather is bad, read a book by the fire with a glass of wine or three. Savour the moments of solitude that we rarely have the chance to enjoy these days.

Home alone as well , but not having as much fun as that little git in the film :sad:
My list of jobs done so far this morning at 1135am
Collected all the cups and plates from around the house
Washed up
Emptied the bin & put out boxes for recycling
Washed the car , as its covered in salt !
Picked up the dog mess off the lawn (using a spade of course)
Restocked my beer fridge in summerhouse
Checked the hot tub water for chemical balance (added more PH)
Checked mouse traps in summerhouse , as the little bleeders like the warm !
Then treated myself to a cuppa tea ! coffee

No rest for the wicked eh
Also if i never did the above , Mrs Leics will spank my arse ! smackbottom

I never seem to be alone (no I don't have a multiple personality disorder rolleyes

). I wouldn't know what to do first either, but I'm sure I'd figure something out :rascal:

Sadly mine would be list on Ebay and more listing on Ebay. So much to sell so little time to list sad

Could I not be doing that now? NO the kids are here and I unable to concentrate on work with interruptions. Think I may have to stop posting here in the day too. My eldest looked at the PC just now saw one of the avatars and said "ohh no not that one, can I see the one with the bum" Hmmm not wanting that mentioned at school :shock:

am always home alone and my time is pretty full but when i do need a chill out, i do one of my favourite things, soak in the bath with book, cook, normally to fill the freezers so i have ready made lunchs for work, my recent hobby has been sewing and making things with my sewing machine
sooo in effect find something you have really missed doing, no matter how insignificant, and do that

I'm alone in the week and at the moment the house feels very full and lively with 2 others (lively hubby and fab son) at home with me.
It's the first time in my life I have been properly alone for more than a few hourse and I'm loving it. I have to make sure I don't spend the evening with this damned laptop pinning me onto the sofa and end up doing nothing but get a numb bum. So I often switch it off or park it on the dining table.
I have started watercolour painting and I love it - been doing Christmas cards lately. And I enjoy having the TV/DVD to myself. I suppose the main thing I would say is don't waste the time. Choose to do something specific and do it. If that happens to be sit on ass, watch TV and eat junk - go for it. So long as it is a chosen thing not an unthinking default.

Smooth exactly my kinda week,today was the walk and , and looking forwrd to a glass by the fire this evening,right now im looking forward to eating what i want for tea!
Visiting a neighbour,you know despite my natural shyness that is such a fab idea i might just do that.

Two ways to do this. If you are only going to quote two people then do as follows
1: Press quote on the first post you wish to quote
2: Highlight and copy all the text (or erase any bits you dont want)
3: Return to thread
4: Press quote on the second post you wish to quote
5: Paste the quote from the first post where ever you want it to go.
When quoting more than one person I like to change my text color or often your first reply can get missed.
If you want to quote more than two people you can open a new tab with firefox or later versions of Internet explorer. Have the thread open in both tabs and just copy and paste quotes from tab 2 to tab 1

Home alone all the time here and to be fair it kinda loses its appeal after a while :lol2: but I can see the attraction of it for those who have a busier household..

Im all alone for the next 4 days grrrr but due to a broken shoulder I cant really have mad crazy sex .......housework been taken care of, kids been taken care of by family so now what?? Ive done loads of dvds, Ive read my book, grrrrrrrrrrrrr what can i do to pass the time
