Should SH be encouraging people who regulary run socials to continue their good work by awarding them free membership ?
I'm not advocating free membership for those that run one social but people who are proven to go that extra mile in continually providing a fun environment for SH members to socialise.
The continuation of socials is something i feel will keep a vibrant and "swinging" scene ... something that will encourage those that use the site for what it was intended to continue their membership.

Honorary Free Membership ?
Nah, I think the people who organise the socials do it because they love doing it (even if it does cause excessive stress)
If regular social/munch organisers were offered free membership, (some already have free membership from before the take over)- then there would be nothing but socials organised and people cant afford to attend socials every week so the numbers would be very small

I get all of that and agree with you :thumbup:
We'd also end up with those that spent time reporting ads or pictures asking for free membership when they choose to do it.
Those that start tons of threads on the forums might fancy a freebie.
Those that spend a lot of time on cam encouraging people to continue paying so they can use chat might want a freebie. Its never ending

Not sure about free membership , but how about a discount for each year ppl are members? Personally i don't pay do it doesnt affect me, but most companies offer incentives to stay with them these days and with the credit crunch a small discount per year of membership may encourage ppl to stay loyal .

Assuming you joined for 12 months at a time it should expire April next year according to your join date

ahhhh well therein lies the problemo Steve....cos we paid monthly for a while, then when we had a bit of cash paid for a year, but cant remember when we did that!
