I think if we're talking our little soup eating alien friends they are either the size of a pair of sox or absolutly bloody humungous i meab huuuuuge maybe the size of Australia- what is the planet that they live on called - any idea? I don't know

If you look at their transmissions you will note that the horizon is curved. The planet must be large enough to maintain gravity, and an atmosphere. The gravity must be sufficient to stop things flying off. Say twice the size of the moon. Knowing this the clangers must be big, very big, for they appear that way against the size of the planet.
You will also notice that the planet is desolate. This may be the first and last contact with an alien civilization.

Blue string soup - the only blue string I know of is that nylon rope stuff, bout as thick as a small wrist.
Clangers are enormous I say ........... or are they normal size and us humans are just tiny specks? :crazy:
