tallnhairy: Thanks for that! I feel slightly better already. However, there's still the rather skewed poll results to contend with. rolleyes
VenusnMars: But... but... I spent sooo much time working on my animated penis! *
~Reese! :~)
* Note:Avatar! That should read "animated penisavatar"! wink
Hmm, you need to bbe getting someone else to animate that for you!

I alternate between having a beard and being cleanshaven. I tend to let it grow up to a length of 1cm so it always looks trimmed and then shave it off. I think having a beard makes a man look distinguished - especially when it's of the salt and pepper variety like mine. wink
Ladies...I'm all yours! wave

don't just go growing in the hope, its the way you wear it

but then Rod did not have one

This thread reminds me of something I heard John Peel say - his face had disappeared under a beard at a young and tender age, so many years later he decided to shave it off, to see what lay beneath.
The resulting image in the mirror didn't look at all like he remembered - in fact it resembled a horrible cross between his monther and Mussolini. So he vowed to regrow it and never shave again.
My dad's always had a full beard, neither me nor my mum are sure what he really looks like as we've never seen him. An ex- of mine once suggested he might be someone famous who pretended to have died long ago hiding under there!

I do wear it well..you just ask CelticQ!
But don't worry Gilbert I know it's a limited field and when I want to pull the ladies I tend to shave it off as most prefer a clean-shaven man. Hence I shall probably be without the beard at the NW munch.
I love a well trimmed goatee but a big full bushy beard would put me right off I'm afraid. (Sorry Reese!) Even a trimmed full beard would probably put me off, but I've found goatees sexy for several years now. smile

when i hit see results I get chucked back to the welcome screeen
is this a known prob with the votes system?
Gilbert
A bit of stubble can be a tantalising treat but NEVER a full beard!!!

That's happened to me a few times but if you just go back to the last page and try again, it usually works. Second time lucky!
The less you shave the softer the beard. i shave weekly to eradicate rashes and to maintain skin health! its really painfull to shave daily!
What is the opinion on shaving regularity? I will cope with twice weekly if need be.

once every twenty years does for me
but I trim with half the regularity that I condition certainly no thigh brissle burn
!lets face it shaveing is not natural , trimming is reasonable...
Golbert
you'll have lush skin under that lot then gilbert lol!
I shave every day and don't find it any bother at all. In fact I dont think I could go out without a shave anymore than I could go out without cleaning my teeth, polishing my shoes and taking the 20mm of blue liquid that the ward nurse gives me.
braver than me dave cant stand the raking at the skin daily!
I get no choice the nurse doesn't undo the straps on my bed, until she's done the shaving.
I must say that I've never been with a man who has a full beard but Db has a tache and sometimes used to let his stubble grow for a few days which was quite nice

It hurts! I'm sure I stipulated very early on - I don't do pain!
try waiting for the softer growth marya! i shave fresh for you most of the time (not always i admit!) and 12-24 hour growth is the harshest!
OOH ive just read this and have voted for men with beards! short and trimmed though. My hubby has a tache and beard and mmmmmm i LOVE em lol
His is going salt and pepper too but ooooh so gorgeous! oooh and hes hairy all overwhich i also like.
I find it strange when the guy is smoother than the lady lol in all departments lol
you cant beat a wet beard, and then haveing a great snogg but i do like my own flavour too lol oh dear that sounds a little crude! lol
Hubby suffers though with shaveing everyday not long ago he sahved the lot off and came down the stairs after 16 years was big shock for me and like sleeping with a stranger, the novelty wore off me though when the regrowth was ripping my skin to bits lol
love pepps wink
nooooooooooo, stuff you find in some beards....
This is a very sexest poll with only male or females allowed to vote, so I have not voted.

Sorry Marya,
I'm with CG on this one.
I definitley don't like the first 24 - 48 hours growth but on day 3 or 4 the hair starts to get really soft and it is quite a nice feeling!!!!

The moral of the story: If you're going to change your appearance to suit someone else, try not to get involved with an idiot.

I am now crying with laughter at this statement ... very very good.
The WHOOSH Man
Twisted sister how can it be sexist? men and women only to vote is it me ? because there are only men and women..... oh sorry did you mean the pets?
