How do you get a photo on here?!

the photo should exsist in some sort of bmp or jpg format if it in on a html file.. i use Geocites to store all my pics, then i cut and paste the url: in to here. then high light and click the "img" button

Ok you cant have a pic in HTML format
That is hypertext markup language (in techy geek speak) and is used to write webpages (like this one) What you most likely have is a picture with a page pointing to it. You will need some form of image editing software to convert it to JPG. I would suggest using irfanview, its free and semi easy to use. Assuming you use irfanview ( ) follow below:
Open the picture (I assume it opens in the web browser) and right click.
Select copy
Open irfanview and select paste (You should now see pic)
From file menu select Save As
Change the type to JPG
You should now be able to upload
If the pic is too large and you want it for an avatar then use the avatar sizer program on your JPG: http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/personal/jql/
Worst case email it to me and I will do the resize and converting for you, but you should be able to get it working with a little patience.
As for other pictures, for example in your posts you can geocities but I prefer this site as it is free and easy:
Make your pic a JPG and go to the page above
On the page you will see a browse box, browse to your file
Press upload and all done, they host it for you for free, they even provide the text you need to copy into the forum to show the picture.

Firstly...
You have to commit a crime.
Then the police take your photograph.
They then distribute said picture around the country.
It will be posted on police bulitin boards, and police web sites, also police flyers.
Weather it will make it to this site is debateable.
Although it could be worth a try.
