bloomin eck i used to be part of the north east keep fit display team 10 yrs ago, and was training for the great north run 6 yrs ago, god knows what happened.
Earthy xx
I know I should take more exercise but I don't. Too fucking lazy, simple as :giggle:
I have moments when I do my sit ups and dvds and stuff but then I come to my senses ( usually after some O2 and a couple of fags ) I was going to do Tai Chi but signed up for Interior Design course instead. I did do belly dancing for a couple of years and that was great fun. Will do that again
I do several hours sexercise per week
An exercise bike in front of the TV is very easy exercise. If you get into what you are watching you forget you are exercising.
Jogging is harder work, but worth trying if you are near a safe green area. I've heard it can be bad for your shins if your jog too much on a hard surface.
Other than not having a car, which requires me to actually use my legs occasionally, and being a dad to a five month old baby, which I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good upper-body workout, I don't really do anything that could be described as 'keeping fit', but on the other hand I don't really need to. Admittedly I take more care than most about what I choose to put into my body (plenty of fresh fruit, veg, lean meat and fish; no alcohol), and if I lead a completely sedentary lifestyle I'd probably need to find time to do something active, but at the moment I do enough, and can think of much better ways to spend what free time I have.
