How do you keep fit?
There are so many fitness regimes about what do you do if anything to keep yourself looking good? I swim everyday before work and go to tai chi classes a couple of times a week.

For me the answer is not very well. I'm useless at that stuff other than working in the garden and other such stuff.

Me either - once walked to the pub if that counts??? wink
sex is a good way of burning calories all in part of a healthy diet to
not sure all this gym stuff is good for you to much strain on the joints using weights
but i think probably swimming is best i try to vary it suppose you been getting plently in the outdoors this weather no need to go to gym lol
I do a 45 minute water aerobics once a week and a 45 minute fitness class once a week.
Then there is sex

Exercise (there I've said it) isn't just about having a body beautiful. The lymphatic system of your body circulates anti-bodies to fight disease. The lymphatic system relies on musclar action to act as a pump. The more you use you muscles the more it is pumped and in theory the healthier you are.

I used to keep fit by drumming 6 days a week. Now I have a proper job I don't do much exercise - well not nearly as much as I should!
Maybe I will start my exercise tomorow.... wink

I don't it's as simple as that, weight wise I'm lucky I can eat non stop (and do) and am still the same waist size and weight as I was at 16 (30' and 12 stone) I used to be quite active but not any more and it shows during those brief moments of physical exersion redface

when I had time, I used to swim, do step and aerobic classes, go on the rowing machines and I'd go kayaking. I miss it terribly sometimes but I'm just too busy right now. sad

It's strange that people spend more money looking after their car than they do looking after their body.

Why? My car gets me to work, to play etc - I wouldn't walk or run there!

No body, no work or play. Your health is important.

Drumming is hard graft isn't it. I had a friend who had to do weights just to cope with the stress on his body from touring.

It can be, depends on the style of music you are playing. Honestly I used to rehearse with my band at least 6 hours a day 6 days a week. I could eat and drink whatever I wanted and never put on any weight! Those were the days!
I wasn't muscular in a masculine way - just well defined - whatever happened to me! lol
