how do you keep your SH mailbox
do you let it fill up and fill up, rarely deleting messages, letting them just get deleted after 30 days
clean it up every day or so, deleting all the rubbish or the answered PMs
let it get to a certain number the sort it out saving any good PMs that you want to keep for future reference
or go through it like a dose of salts and delete things as soon as you have answered them and emptying the send box after every PM??

:? Mines a mess...... :? :? every time I get down to the ones I can see and count on the first page, I spend ages trying to find the others I know I must have.
Hunting for the strays that slipped through the net the other night I found one from a lovely chappie that used to visit here often that I hadn't read... I felt so awful, replied to find his user name no longer existed!!:cry: :cry: Now I feel even worse! Where have ya gone? I loved reading your poetry and posts....
I must have a clear out again though as I'm sure I'm slowing the server down with the amount have. I'm a sentimental old sod at times and like to keep lovely mails I've received over the years. Oh, I keep the crappy ones I have as well, as a reminder!!! :?

I really miss the "forward complete message" facility that used to exist, though I understand the reasons for removing it. It meant I never had to "save" a message cos they were all 9 of them saved to my external mail.

I try to keep it down to a minimum.
I save any with munch details, hotels etc or any that contain potential meet details. I also have a few that I have saved due to their content being funny or fabulous... my only touch of sentiment!
Once I have responded to anything, I delete it (if it does not fall into any of the above categories) This helps me keep on top of stuff (I apply same type of ruthless deletion in my work and personal email accounts too!) I only save sent messages if they contain some detail that I may need to confirm I did send. Otherwise, sent mails are deleted every day or so.
