We have 3 ad's on the site and we cheak to see how many have read them, then we cheak our mail.....
Nothing!!!!
So we were chatting about it and trying to think what about us puts people off:-
Age, looks, our write up, what we are looking for?!?!?
So what puts you off when looking at adverts and profiles? why would u change your mind?
We ask this now because Donna is thinking of stopping the swinging thing all togeather.
What would you do??

I rarely look at the ads
but people that are clearly stuck up their own arses is a big no no
also women that require a vvvvvvwe guy is off putting to me and my 4 inch buddy sad

just looked at ur profile n ermm veryyy nice, dunno why ur not gettin any replys, do u use the chatrooms, i always find there better, to get to know people n get meets (this is the fem btw ) xxxj

Well... I'm a sucker for a well-written advert! My current advert is bordering on the war and peace length, but I figure that by stating my case it is slightly easier to say 'sorry, no' if the responses don't fit with what I have said I am looking for.
Do you update your adverts? And by that I don't just mean press the refresh thingy that gets them on to the top of the page... do you update them to reflect what you are looking for now. Things can get a bit tired.
I suppose in a way I treat any adverts I put on here the same as the advert copy I used to write for my clients when I was in recruitment... you have to sell yourself and set your stall out so you get the best candidate applying - worked in recruitment and so far it works for me on here too!!

I would not worry about it Dizzy. We are in the same boat. We have two ads running and have very little response. Now whilst I am an ugly git lol mrs777 certainly is not. Check our profile. :lol:
I update our advert from time to time and the replies we get are from the kind of guys we are not looking to meet, but they still reply. :shock:
I think it is a combination of many things and for me it is there are too few people that are there to meet. I dont have a problem with people who dont want to swing but...to find people in your area who want to play is not as good as you may think.
We meet a few people quite regular, but makes us wonder as to why when we update our advert, we get 2 replies? So you are not alone and dont give up, there are people out there, just sometimes hard to find.

remember a few things here........
not all people who use the forums use the ads....
not all people who use the chatrooms use the ads....
not everyone uses the ads for the same thing (mine and a few others use it as additional information about ourselves as opposed to actually using it to try and get meets...
I rearly even look at the ads these days, It is not really the way I do my networking, I do mine at socials or munches around the country, because you can get a better feel for a person in person than you sometimes can thru a few lines......
I reckon the amount of people that have actually answered my ad to get a meet in the 4 ish years I have been here would count up to no more that 10........ I know it is harder for single guys, but gives you an example of what some people go thru.....
maybe it is worth looking at other ways of swinging... the ads are not for everyone....

We don't have any adverts on site at all but we find we get more people wanting to meet us when we are in chat rooms,altho usually it's "the wrong " people wink

Things that put me off replying to add are of course the obvious.....pics of people i find unattractive, people that put 'must be attractive' whats attractive dunno isnt beauity suposed to be in the eye? and if i replyed would that me saying "hey im attractive?" how vains that? lol people who put must be professional? what the hells my job got to do with anything?? lol adds that refure to women as sluts and whores mad ok i know some people get off on that kind of talk but i don't and people playing away, can't think of anymore for now lol
