That's it - jods on (swear they still smell of Bertie)
See you all later (hopefully)
Wow is this the result of mutual sharing? Good luck!
Well - he's not back yet so he either hasn't fallen off - or else he is on his way to A & E
Excellent Dambuster, well done :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Hope you had a bluddy good ride
Mmmmn. I've just had a thought.
I hope that CarrieAnn and me are not creating any false impressions here or encouraging anyone to read between the lines something that is not there.
C, would you expand on this sometime in the week; or do you think it's clear???
See you next weekend. Unless I run out of time somewhere near you.
I used to ride horses but I had a bad fall once before, I also have the chance to ride military horses they belong to the Kings Troop and they are lovely but I was told if I fall wrong again there is a chance I wont walk away from the fall. I miss riding but I do enjoy walking too if only I was better at the things I enjoy
All of my last horse rides were sad? When one of the springs bust on its front leg, we had to have it chopped up for firewood.. I can ill remember too when at school the fatefull day i was attempting the flares I caught my doo dahs on the end and the world went black as I passed out onto the mat...
Am I on the wrong thread AGAIN...?
I LOVE riding...............
Horses scare me.....
At the tender age of 8and a bit, my parents took me on one of many "educational holidays" (you know the type... walking on hills, visiting book shops, going to see somewhere with a history, and at 8 it was booooooooooring, lol) anyways...
there was some stables at this particualr historical place, and above the half door that stables have was a sign... said.... "Do not pet, this horse bites"
Being 8 and a bit I felt this did not apply to me... so strolling up being all brave, I put my hand up to pet the horses head... the horse looked at me and, with hindsight must have thought oh gooody another kid, and lowered its head...
Cool thought I, the sign was wrong...
Chomp went the horse, up went its head, taking with it a large chunk of my t-shirt and almost my nipple... took weeks for the bruising to go down and my nipple to look half way normal. The bugger drew bloud to top it all!
Since then... if it looks like a horse, or pony, or shetland or any such equestrine animal... I keep well clear.
I have 4 phobias, horses, daddy (jenny) long legs, heights, and stag beatles..... oh 5 if you also include the maggoty things from an old doctor who episode
