how hard is it to meet genuine people??!!

he was trying to pass off his own experience as the norm... so what myself, neil a lot better than i and other have put is a diferent view.... after all are there not two sides to each story... i never said that his view wasn't valid... just as you haven't said that mine is.....
to have a fair and balanced view you are going to have different people speaking....
you speak from your own experience but you don't pass that off as a generalisation to the way the scene is......
i like going to munches... that is me... i don't go to them as often as i did, my personal reasons why....
i have used the ads and had loads of fun from them... some of them have just wanted to fuck and go... some of them have wanted to get to know me first.....
swinging is a very broad spectrum, i am sure people find there niche within that range....
but presenting one way as the norm, whichever you it is glossed is going to raise the backs of some people....

i've always found the best way to actually meet a couple/fem/whatever is to give up on the site and not log on for a few days confused

when i spend loads of time here i get nowhere(not that i'm looking for meets only) when i leave it for a few days theres sometimes a little something in my mailbox to keep me intersted .
its the best site i've been on btw

Having a moan about things is all do at times.
I could moan about not being able to find genuine couples and couples could moan about not being able to find genuine guys but thats not quite the type of moaning any of us has in mind!
We must hope that,in time,we can find what we seek.

I would like to point out (just for the record !) that
1. I am not moaning, and
2. yes, my experience may be different to others, and
3. yes, some people may meet someone new every day and go have fun.
4. etc
Nevertheless, the odds are stacked against this, it has nothing to do with peoples character, membership of a forum, munches, the price of fish or anything else, only the sheer numbers of single guys out there looking for the same thing.
Some good posts though - it is interesting to see what other people think / feel, and it's only a shame more don't contribute - I know I didn't do so for years, and only relied on the ad's (or other sources), and wish now that I had dipped my toe in a long time ago.
However, you are all mad !

Having met up with two very intelligent women via this site in the last 20 months I count myself as being one of the lucky few perhaps. biggrin

I'm sure there are some blokes out there who think that by posting any ad women will come running. This is not the case. What does happen though, is that by posting your real persona, likes, dislikes and a bit about yourself, you ultimately do get replies from exactly the type of person you are seeking. If you are posting an ad that is vague, or just "I want a f**K" you're not are not being specific enough and as such your ad is not appealing to any readers.
As a result of this site I met one swinging match in particular from Lancashire, 250 miles away, and despite the distance, it was worth every gallon of petrol as we were of the same mind and had a great afternoon and evening together.
