how life flys by

How life is so fast these days with work, famaily life & play - I don't often have time to stand back & take a look around me rolleyes

This morning I was sat in a bus stationwaiting for my bus (which never turned up mad

) After a rant I started looking round the station & started to take note of what was going on around me.
There was people running frantically for a bus, school kids dawdling, people eating sausage rolls or pasties for their breakfast, people clock watching, people yawning, people smiling, people crying, people well dressed & made up, people in casual clothes, etc
I realised that I had sat waiting for my bus for half an hour looking round & pondering what these people were like, where do they live? do they work - if so what did they do? are they swingers? are they married, single or have a partner?
Then it came to ffwarrr he's fit oooh she's nice as well wink

So my question is have you had chance sometime to stand back & watch the world pass you by- what were your thoughts? did you like what you saw?

I've never liked kids, theyve always annoyed me....but lately when im walking to places i see poeple with kids or i see kids doing silly thing like picking flowers and i get a really weird feeling, i just think *wow*
whats happening to me?

As many times as i can i find it very relaxing, i just love people watching, mostly think about the same questions, if i see a nice female then is hmmm very nice would what underwear shes got on or is she comando etc,

I LOVE people watching! I can sit for hours and just watch the world go by, wondering what certain people are like at home, what they get up to wink

It's much more fun when you make it all up too :giggle: Me and my mate sit there sometimes and make up little scenarios for people....a bit unfair but really funny :giggle:
What makes me go 'Wow!' is walking through along the beach as the sun is setting and just stand and watch it. I get a nice feeling when I see old couples walking together and they're still holding hands or see a lady smile as a thank you when a door is opened for her. It makes me forget just for a moment what a shitty world we live in right now confused

but there is still some good in it of you look hard enough biggrin

Same here, just love people watching and it is fascinating what you can actually find out about people just by watching them.
Sometimes if we go for a quiet night out, I can just sit and discretly watch the comings and goings of people and have a really good time. We do the same thing Sassy, we can make up scenarios and try to guess what their 'real lives' are like.
As for my favourite 'wow' moment, it can be anything from seeing some beautiful scenary, or some fantastic feat of nature. It could also be something as simple as the pair of Thrushes which are nesting in the Street light right outside my office window, and they now have babies. Very early in the year for them and each day, especially when it has been a cold night, I have to have a look to check the babies are still moving. Isnt nature such a wonderful thing.

I started doing that this morning- wandering what a certain person looked like with their hair shaved n wearing black leather

I used to live in the countryside, waking up to lambs in the field opposite going baaa. looking over the fields to the far horizon of trees- beautiful.
Unfortunately, I don't get to see these now :cry:

Sure is, but I will no doubt get sick of it in a few days and change it wink

We also have some Bluetits nesting in our backgarden, and they have been coming back for the last 3 or 4 years. Another sign that spring is here, even if the weather doesnt feel like it has.
Sorry for going a bit off topic, but when you actually sit down and think of all the wonderful things that are going on around us every minute of the day, it really makes you realise just how very lucky we are.
I actually love living (if that makes sense) lol
