It took me the 2nd time to pass my driving test.....even though I nearly killed a cyclist...!! I then got into my car, hopped onto the M56 motorway and ended up in Wales..!! How many times for you and where was your first journey..?? CheekyChimp..... ____________________________________ A Member of Operational Change Management
Mine was second time, failed the first time before I'd even got off the road the test centre was on but it was the examiners fault as he didn't give enough time after giving the instruction. I could have complained but couldn't be bothered. Second time had a lorry jack knife in front of me :scared: but pulled the car over and asked for some time to calm down, examiner was impressed with that so passed me :bounce: Cx

Well I failed 29 times and gave up after that............... been driving over 30 years now though, who needs a licence only joking peeps, passed 2nd time
I passed first time when I was 17. However if it hadn't been for the car in front stopping at a red light at a pedestrian crossing, I would have driven straight through it and failed. I don't think I could pass it now though! I've learnt too many bad habits. Fee XX
First time here :smug: Can`t remember where I went on my first solo journey as it was so long ago! Can`t have far as the bloke carrying the red flag in front of me would have got tired

40years ago, passed first time and bought a fiat 500 for a fiver. set off for the south of france, picked up a french girl hitchhiker, got first mobile blowjob, . fiat blew up halfway. spent 2 weeks with the french girl in paris before hitching home. bliss !
Passed first time at age 17. Bought a car three days later and drove it straight to the midlands to visit friends. Almost ran into problems half way there though as it nearly ran out of petrol and I didn't know how to put more in, so had to stop at a garage and ask the guy behind the counter to put some in for me It was an old cheap and cheerful banger but the back seat certainly saw a lot of action . . . no change there then :P Tracy-Jayne
I passed on my 3rd attempt. The instructor turned up in a brand new car that I had never driven before and then I had the same examiner that had failed me both times previously. My nerves should have been shot to hell, but I was cool, calm, collected and in control throughout. Half a little white tablet in the morning works wonders One of my first journeys was from Dorset to Oxfordshire with all the kids, the dog and Kat navigating

Car 2nd time, 1st time sort of sneaked in a '40 in a 30 zone' and the examiner wasent as old and decrepid as he looked Tank 1st time!!!! got zapped by a gatzo type thing just outside of Neinburge, Germany one fine day doing 50 in a CVRT Sparton (baby Tank/APC thing on tracks) HGV 1 .... 1st time..... in Holland, been a good boy driving in those, no tickets, yet... Motor Bike? .... dont go there! .... all I will say is 'dont get off one while going round corners' .... Ouch!

Car third time... Completely messed up the first by not seeing an eldely lady who decided to cross the rod fifty feet before a pedestrian crossing.. it was the"" thud"" of her trolley thing bouncing off the bumper that alerted me to her.. strangely the guy doing the testing didn't see her either but I sorta failed instanly...Second time I never turned up cos I forgot the date... skinned it the third.. First journey was to the hospital to take my then wife in for our first born.. <<< drove like a loony... Got my Motorbike first time though... and my first journey was up to Scotland to buy my prized bike... A pristine Norton Commando 850... sadly she and I parted company somewhere along the A419 in Wiltshire.. She and I both were left in a less than pristine condition.. <<< is trying hard to resist the urge to join the forties biker club...

I passed first time with only 2 mistakes during my exam... Failing to use my indicator once... which I pointed out to the examinar when I realised. And putting my foot down on the accelerator every time I was nearing a roundabout using the idea that if i get on it at 30 to 70 miles an hour no fecker is going to crash into me as i'm to quick... mind you, the examiner did look a bit pale as though all the blood was drained from his face as he said "you've passed... I dont ever want to be in a car with you again." I've calmed down since ;-) BUT... I know someone who has the same attitued I used to have and had the pleasure of a lift in her car (fecking bricking it I was ;-)) mind you... we did make the derby pub... and I got home ok even if I did have to be so pissed I cant remember much of the journy home... darkfire is soooo going to kick my ass for this, lmao
passed the second time 14 years ago. failed the first one cos me and the instructor were out on the piss the night before, turned up late for the test, and just had a fit of the giggles when out.
I passed on my second attempt.......first time I was just too nervous and panicked. Don't remember where i went first on my own...probably to work. Think I would still pass my test now
passed first time here on roz's 19th birthday we drove somewhere quiet for our first car shag yook 3 weeks to wipe the smile off my face as for now would never pass far to many bad habits
I passed 2nd time although there was 5 years in between them. I took it once, failed, drove with a legal driver to Scarborough and then proceeded to drive by myself through the centre of town with no headlamps on and having had 2 pints so was done for drink-driving and driving without full licence. :silly: I don't like to do things by half, as my criminal record now says. Glad to say that I learnt my lesson and have never had so much as a low alcahol lager if driving, still affects my Insurance though. Lesson is: Don't forget to put your headlamps on whilst driving at 2 am in the center a town :censored:
