How much do you hate Ironing!!!!

I have spent over 18hours in the past 2 days ironing for the entire house (there is only 4 of us!)
I have just discovered muscles in my arms I never knew existed! biggrin

Any one else hate ironing or any tips on how to get it done without it taking half of the week?

ive never actually tried ironing a house??? surprised it didnt actually take you longer lol
my tip is, buy clothes that dont need much ironing, tumble dry everything and fold it straight away, that way less to iron.
failing all that turn naturists. :twisted:
any tips on saving time on chores leaving more time for fun is always a good idea

Rammy does the ironing in the morning for the kids uniforms and his shirt for the day... other than that we only iron the clothes when they are needed.
Have you tried drinking cocktails or learning french at the same time? Might make the time go quicker! lol

Dont have space for a tumble dryer in our house, had to make avery difficult decission last year dunno

Tumble dryer or Dishwasher.
If I had of chosen the tumble dryer I would now be typing from the top of the biggest washing up pile in the world lol

I agree there is four of usa in the house and i spend a large amount of my time doing bloody ironing too, only thing i have found to stop being bored is having my lap top on top of the iron board confused

Unfortunatly i cannot iron my hubbies ironing as it hides the screen of my laptop lol

so he has to do his own..........
but if i had my way i would love allllll of the human race to go to the tiume of adam and eve and let us all wear fig leaves in the summer months..................................

I hate ironing with a passion mad

it drives me insane evil

have spent much of the last week washing & ironing 'suplus to requirement' clothes and bagged em all up for the car boot/ a well known auction site lol

Some of you might know I used to have a serious addiction to clothes shopping, so wont be surprised to hear I have 3 double wardrobes-worth and wait for it......
24 black bin bags full :shock:
all of which have been ironed in the last 7 days :shock:
I need a drink :beer:

well we also hate the ironing we have 7 wash loads that need doing just its all adam that does it as leonie is crap at it deal is she cooks all the food i do all the ironing but hate it so much xxx

mm now we getting some where ,our lass is the same its like mount pile she starts when she cant get round to her side of the bed lol

now in the north east chat room is a on going joke spes as 1 night i was trying to force me way round mount pile up when mrs north says "here pet ill move for you" so on i go sssssssssssss and yes she burns me ass "awwwwwwwww ya fnngnggning and many more swear words then she say"dont be soft its only a little burn" yer now me but is scarred :lol: so if you ever get to club f and ya see some one with rowenta on his ass its not mrs norths name its her bloody iron :lol:

It's my pet hate too mad

and I've just been doing mine for an hour before I got bored rotflmao

I usually put a film on while I'm doing it. That way I get at least 1 1/2 hours of ironing done at a time without realising. :thumbup:

My tip is wear jeans and tee shirts every day, tumble dry and fold. I never Iron piles of ironing, my kids have creases and so does Storm! redface

If I earned enough I would send my ironing out to be done so we could all be crease free, but I'm afraid I don't and I also don't have anymore hours in the day after work, Mumming, wifeing and daily dose of Swinging Heavening to be doing ironing.

I found the answer! put it all away then iorn things b4 u wear em...max 10 mins a day. Sorted!
Tumble dry everything u can, and hang it st8 up in the wardrobe.....hardly anything to iron.
Life is too short to iron stuff...my mom had 2 piles of washing, ironing and cowits...as in,
: cow it! i cant be arsed LOL
