How do I add someone to my block list if they have never sent a message or anything?
Tony ;-)
No idea... however on another site I'm a member of they have an ignore button. It's fucking brilliant!
No help to you at all. Just thought I'd share! lol
You can't, until they send you a message. I don't think anyway smile
Look at the profile of the person(s) you wish to block. Hover your mouse over the 'Send message' option, at the bottom of your browser you will see....
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/members/mailbox/new/xxxxxxx/
write down the number that equals xxxxxxx and then paste the following into your browser address bar.

Thanks for that, I never even thought of manipulating the url!
Would be nice to just have a block button though...
If you was say browsing profiles and seen a family member or work colleague and don't want them to see your profile a block button would come in handy.

they do look rather ... mishapen already... maybe that's why.
If he was my instructor I would have drawn him with a riot shield, some thick gloves, and a pair of heavy boots.
Maybe a scarf, as there is still a bit of a chill in the air come evening time.

Maybe it is a new kind of martial art? lol

Do you mind if we pop that tip in the Oracle sticky above so we don't lose it? smile
Its a good un!
Of course you can, I just worked it out to see if it was possible. Don't know why you would want to block someone who had not as yet messaged you.

You'd be surprised lol
Some people want to block members they have spoken to or had issues with in the chat room - gives them another option if they wish to use it.
Cheers :)
