Now let's get positive, what things do you see or read on a profile that makes you think, ooooh would like to meet him/her/them/like to chat to him/her/them.
It is often a combination of things on a profile but what individuals things stand out for you ?

I LOVE IT WHEN .....
Hi, perhaps I can kick this one off.
For us it would not necessarily have been what is written but equally what is not written. I seem to recall that you have touched on this recently. Don't want to read about the 'high standard of living',holidays to our villa in Spain or we are a 'proffessionel cuple' (yes I know!).
It's not always something that you can describe but an honesty that comes through from the way the advert and profiles are written. The absence of text-speak would be a big plus as would a good standard of grammar.
Having a special photo is a big plus too. There are plenty of boob shots etc but I would have to say that there are not that many where the main photo says something more about the couple/person. J&S, your main photo shouts volumes about you as a couple. Jed, you could have your arms around Sasha's waist but have your hands on her hips. That says much more about how 'together' you are as a couple and gives a far more sensual/erotic message to someone wanting to meet. You have achieved it without any nakedness. Good for you.

Never thought about that photo in that way, it was us being bad really, early afternoon at Chameleons when it was very quiet but lovely and sunny on the roof garden, we were just crossing it from the hotel room when we saw a single guy we knew, I asked him to take the pic of us and quickly nipped back to the room for the camera, totally against the rules but he was happy to oblige and nobody else was about so we managed to get what I think is a nice shot of us, glad you think it was ok too.
For another female, manners, cleanliness, sense of humour, reasonably intelligent and gash savvy

but first and foremost SH is by far the superior site( along with its sibling sites), others often try to mirror and fail.
I've made great friends from here, some that I meet others that I chat with externally albeit by text, phone etc.

The first thing that makes us smile is pictures of both the male and female on couples profiles, that also says a lot to us, we often find more information from what is NOT written than what is written but of course reading between the lines is just conjecture, though quite obviously correctly assumed much of the time.
We like information to be easy to read not have to play e-mail ping pong just to get the basic information about how people like to organise thier meets, ie weekends, weekdays, can travel how far, cant travel than can you accommodate, if your soft play to what level, yes for some that is fem on fem only for others it is everything except penetration, we just don't have time to ask all the basics and think the profile is the place to display them.
