I Want Virgins..............Customers

OK you lot, tell me what you're getting ;)
my broadband contract has just ran out so i called up the customer service bods to find out what was on offer if i renew it.
They've told me i have to pay a little moremoney to get less stuff than i currently have :shock:
So i want to go back to them armed with more info on what others have, see what i can squeeze out of Mr Branston Pickles media empire.
What i want is something under £30, fastish broadband, some telly stuff would be good and i'd even have a landline if it's got free calls. i might even be happy to spend an ickle bit more if they chuck in a mobile.
Soooo, what have you got and how much is it?
or should i change to someone else?
i'm open to suggestions wink

Sky seems a good package. But remember they always get their pound of flesh, no matter who you go with.

My deal with Sky is sky+ tv, broadband and unlimited calls for £26. The downside is having to pay another £11 to BT for the use of the phoneline confused

okay.... my package is a fortune... lol

:lol: but if you are looking as something really basic
a few of my friends have a freeview box.... but i don't think you get any sky programming on it....
or have about a mixture of the most basic sky package for TV, and the most basic broadband and phone package on Virgin..... best of both worlds......
and if you sign up for Direct debit.. and paperless billing it is discounted further....

I know mine isn't the best deal. I have btbroadband but, I do get to have a rather smart 'anywhere' phone with access to the internet on it for a fiver extra a month and my son uses that. He used to cost me £15 to £20 a month on his old phone, so that has helped as the phone comes with 50 free talk minutes and 50 texts and you can carry the unused minutes/texts across to the next month.

I'm with Virgin and pay £21 a month for the basic TV package, internet and phone (free weekend calls only). I still make calls during the week and my bill is never over £30

not sure you want what we have lol
I have two cable boxes ones V+ the others just a normal ones, fully TV package on both boxes, talk unlimited phone and i think we may be on 10mg broad band but it could be faster not sure on that one but we pay about £110 a month for ours confused

I am with BT....its reliable..get free calls at week-ends and after 6 on landline....and seems they reduce my tarriff every 12 monthes...don't think vast differance in them all...but I been more than happy with BT

Virgin customer here and we have the landline, bog standard basic TV package and the 20mgb broadband and we pay £27 per month. Had to do a lot of haggling to get this price and threatened to go to sky/BT before they agreed to it.

Is that with free anytime calls? cos they've offered me 10meg, free tv and landline with free anytime landline calls and reduced mobile/international (not that i ever call abroad rolleyes

No, we have to pay for our phone calls, but these are not that much as I also have 1100 mins with 'three' for £20 a month (can you tell I love a bargin) lol

The deal they have offered you probably works out around the same cost as ours, only you get the calls, we get the quicker broadband.

hi guys some may already know but after rebooting my moden i now get up to 10mbs as a free upgrade from 4mbs thanks to virgin, and it looks like there website stated its rolled out all over the uk, so dont miss out
