I wish the Delete All button didn't exist!

I have just done 'Delete All' instead of 'Delete Marked'.
(I know, I know - carelessness!)
My inbox was over 50% full and I hadn't got round to saving all the PMs I had wanted to.
Is there ANY way of retrieving them????
And Mark - this isn't the first time I've done the same stupid thing - I don't supposed there is any way of making the Delete All stand out more from the other buttons? Just for careless fools like me? (Mind you I'll bet I'm not the only one to have done this).
Hugs, Alex x x x
oh shite you haven't????
i've hit it once before myself . . . you any idea how long it took me to have any worth keeping FFS! lol . . . the "mark all" then "delete marked" then click "yes" should hopefully stop us being such numpties . . . . but how to tell the difference between the "delete that message" and the "delete all messages" confused: dunno
neil x x x x ;-)
I too have done that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My heart sank..... sad sad sad sad
I take it that it's like other forums, where private messages are just that private. No-one has any access to them other than the account holder?
*gets ready to nip off and delete all his very dodgy PMs*

Good point, and I've nearly done it myself too. It's now gawn ;)
If you want to 'delete all' you'll now have to do it by 'marking all' and then hitting 'delete marked' until they've all gone (if you have multiple pages of PMs you want to get rid of). I think this small inconvenience is far outweighed by accidently deleting everything
Sorry Alex, there's no way of retrieving them once they've been deleted.

No probs Mark - I didn't think there would have been.
My own silly fault anyway!
Thanks for preventing future 'accidents'
Muah, Alex x
Oh Alex, that sucks! I`m a lazy cow, and have been hovering on 94% for too long, electing to delete of few of the recent PMs instead when needed., Now we need to go through pages and pages of stuff in order to save contact details etc, but we never do. I`m always too busy posting! The idea of losing the lot bites! surprised

They are pretty scrambled in the database for this very reason. So even if I was inclined to root around in there looking for something interesting, I wouldn't know who was saying what to whom anyway

well.. out of the goodness of my heart, (and for the sake of research you understand  ).... i am willing to put myself forward to read and put names them!
 lol  lol  lol
