Just wondered if any of you guys have seen this web site:
I have to say, I was stunned, gobsmacked by what was possible with a bit of ice.
It certainly had an effect.
The creative juices started to pulse through my veins
The ideas abounded
Can I do that????
Of course I can -
Dug out the old chainsaw as you do, started to whittle and I ended up with ............
A Dalek
Most impressive I thought - sorry for it being out of focus but I was so bloody cold by the time I got to this stage.
There is definately an art to this ice carving stuff - anybody do any better?

Well it's obvious a chain saw is not the tool to use
Maybe your old man might have left some old tools of the trade lying about.(*)

Oi you - it took bloody ages! - It started off as part of the polar ice cap. Flew it by helicopter to my back garden, although it did melt a tad when it went over Iceland (something to do with the thermals).
Once arrived I set to work with the chain saw, you know - a bit off here, a bit off there - very much like when I went to the barbers.
Finally ending up with the masterpiece, although not in its original form. The eye bit thingy snapped off so I had to hunt for a suitable pin to replace it with. I don't think anyone noticed though ...........
