Ideas please

its Steves brothers 40th in December and were trying to come up with some ideas to make it a good one for 's usually a bit of a miserable git so we really wanna cheer him up and give him a night/day to thing is were a bit dim and need some ideas so help???
It needs to be ideas that arent too costly really coz the rest of the family are stingy rolleyes

A Â£5 book token???? Is that stingy enough?
Or failing that what about some kind of home-made "this is your life" type photo album, with every year from 0 - 40 ? You could duck into friends re-united and ask some of his school mates to contribute a pic or two, or say something... dunno

I know Steve has, but it's his brother's birthday. Steve was only 30 last year, it can't be his 40th. :shock:
