Identity crisis

Ok folks……a quick question prompted by our change of avatar?
Those of you with whom we have gotten to know over the last few months via PM, MSN, email and our replies to postings will hopefully be aware that we are a couple!
Anyone who clicks on our ad link in our signature will obviously be aware that we are a couple but (and here’s the question) is it clear enough to others that we are and if not should we bother to do anything about it? dunno

We really don’t want to go down the road of separate sign ins as we really enjoy visiting the cafÃ© together albeit that at certain times we do visit alone.
A title of LadyFeeBee and the Laird seems like a bit of a mouthful (no sniggering at the back please smackbottom

) so is it enough for us to keep the title and sign off our posts as we have done up till now with either LadyFeeBee or the Laird or should we go all out in an advertising campaign to avoid the possible munch statement of ……” so you’re LadyFeeBee..who’s the bloke you brought with you!!” mad

Anyone encountered the same problem or any thoughts on changing names etc.

Obviously totally off topic here guys - I just wanted to say.......

Oooh Bows ( I love that) you are a caution.
LadyFeeBee (actually that's a bit of a mouthful - Feebs!) I always remember you and the Laird - it is very distinctive. If I bumped into you at a munch I'd be trying to manouevre you out of sight of the Laird - so no identity crisis in my book! More power to yer elbows!!

only just read this thread
why change whats obviously been working, there are quite a few couples using the cafe, using a joint logon and signing either in sigular or pluaral as is needed.
if others are too slow to realise, well, I am sure they will get faster

I think you should keep the title and sign off posts as you have been doing.
You could ask lucy to put ladyfeebee and laird on list for munch if you think that would help but keep your title on here as it is.
Fred my husband has started putting up post here to and up til now he has signed as fred or fred(mrsexyscot) and i was thinking if he should continue or have his own title.

Am I being really thick today? I thought ken was on here as kenluvslucy???
Or is that a different ken to :confused2:
We got round it by putting " " in his signature, then if by some small miracle he did post people would know who he was.

You could just add a little tag line to your signature - perhaps something like "Home of LadyFeeBee and the Laird"? Otherwise, I agree that any sensible person would just click on your ad link and figure it out for themselves. And, for anyone who doesn't and raises questions about the spontaneous existence of your "other half" at munches and such, you have my express permission to point and laugh. lol
