I would not give up this lifestyle if it was made illegal. While I accept that if I break a law there may be consequences, I don't believe that laws are always right, or that laws are always just. I tend to agree more with "An it harm none, do what ye will" and I cannot see how swinging harms anyone given that it is done with the informed consent of all involved.

I've always considered the law as more of a rough suggestion, and carried on regardless....it just requires a little more care if something is illegal

Our monogamous vanilla sex life is hardly boring or unenjoyable! It's quite spicy and varied even without anyone else stepping foot inside the door, so I don't think it would be any hardship, at all.
I'd miss boobies and lovely lady gardens every now and then, when the mood takes, but other than that... I think we'd do OK if swinging was banned.
Now, the real question would be... do I think the LibCon Government would ban it?

If they went for swinging then they'd have to regulate prostitution first, which they're not going to do because I reckon half of them are dirty old dogs anyway and wouldn't want to give it up! :lol: The last thing they'd want is a sex scandel or to open Pandora's box in that direction. Might keep people's minds off other more pressing issues, like selling off the remaining family silver (part privatisation of the Post Office) or even divert attention away from the fact our kids won't have enough teachers, but long term... it's non issue on the scale of the other things they have to deal with at the moment.
