my 4 day break felt like it lasted a flippin month
There was 6 of us (me mr B n 4 kids plus 2 dogs), in our 4 berth caravan, in a wood in cheshire......
in a nutshell....it hammered down for 20 hours solid from when we got there.....the awning leaked, the groundsheets got flooded, there was an invasionmof wasps in and around the caravan, that the kids spent the entire time flailing around like the woman from the beginning of Tales of the Unexpected trying to bat them away....
one of the dogs ate a wasp which stung her down her throat and made her hack like she had smoked 50 woodbines a day for the last 20 years......
whilst rushing to administer first aid to said idiot dog, I forgot i had moved the clip on light lower down to provide more light for the rest of the family to see their minute game of travel monopoly....I walked straight into the bulb and my brain synapses took a while to fire...and in that time, i heard the sizzle and saw my skin on my arm shrivel up before i actually felt the pain  :scared:
also kids had a blast climbing trees, riding bikes, chasing cows and getting muddy, we had a fab trip to see the gigantic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank, we enjoyed some much needed peace and quiet with no tv or computer games AND we even managed a quickie in the woods one night
Out of all the luxuries i missed the most....SH has to be far and away the most missed....
Im glad to be back :smitten:
