Hiya chaps and chappesseseseses...
Flew to LA on March 17th and returned today... safe and sound but with a cough... grrrr... Business and pleasure... both good...
Normal service returns forthwith... ie... not much then... lol

hello how was la la land hunny??? did the earth move??? i don't go out west.. anyplace where the earth move when i am not drunk is unnatural!!!!
but glad you are back... hope you had a nice day and got fries with everything.... lol

Last April we were in LaLa Land and I went paddling in the sea. The locals thought I was barmy as it was a 'freezing' 23 degrees C.

Well let me tell you, that Mrs WW ,we had 1, yes a whole 1 day of sunshine ....... and I think Spring is here. Not missed much; I've had the odd bit pierced and tattoed :twisted:

LA LA land is quite amazing... an experience not to be missed! This is my fifth visit and I'm never failed to be impressed with the lifestyle...
Their petrol prices are ridiculously cheap and they think they have it tough... I soon explained to them what a high cost of living is really like... then I had to get accostomed to the pitying looks...
There was an earthquake while I was there... albeit a tiny one... the building I worked in is on rollers and it swayed a tad... interesting... confused

With regard to food... we were lucky in that we were taken out to dinner most evenings by the directors of the company we went to see... fantastic restaurants... the best one was The Crustaceaen in Beverly Hills... the walkway through the restaurant consists of thick glass with fish swimming below... so cool! cool

Yes miss... gonna have a nice glass of wine, have a bath and then think about food... I've not done any cooking for a fortnight... has been bliss... smile

Good to have you back after your fantastic time in the US of A. Really pleased that you enjoyed yourself, even though you were working. its sounds like you still found time for some fun and sightseeing.
