I'm Celebrating

Hi All......its been absolutely ages since I started a thread and since I'm celebrating today I thought I'd post this.....
As some of you know, I recently started University again......I did almost a year last year but had to pull out because I got really sick......but I've started again....and it's going really really well.....
Now the reason I'm celebrating is that I actually got my Bursary again!!!!!! Which is fabulous news......I didn't think I would get it because they already paid out for 9 months last year and I didn't think they'd pay again which would leave me in a bad state of affairs, but I checked my account this morning and they have paid it in!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: It doesn't mean I'm rich.....but it does mean that I'll be a bit more comfortable for the next three years......
Now before all of you start on me, this does NOT mean I'm buying all the drinks at the Yorkshire Munch biggrin

And for those that don't know, a Bursary is a payment that some University students get (like Nursing students, like me).....and it is like a Grant, so it's money that doesn't have to be paid back.....

Thanks hun......and I won't be wasting it, I have to live on a Strict Budget while I'm at Uni.....but there is always a bit leftover for some fun wink

Well if you have been given this as a grant and not a loan, I think you SHOULD buy ME a drink if we ever meet................. but I will buy you 10 in return smile

Just saw this thread so congratulations on starting your course again. As far as I'm concerned any money spent on training nurses is money well spent, as we certainly need them. Wishing you all the success with your course Helen. You will certainly make an excellent nurse, not just because you can pass all the exams, but because you actually care about people.
