Anyone seen this film yet? It is a must see. Thought provoking, sensitive, funny and sad, all at the same time. Brilliant actors.
Mmm.. considering this one. Don't wanna piss meself off (inevitability of my illness and all that).
I suppose only you can decide for yourself Vix. There were a lot of people watching in wheelchairs.
Gawd trust me to get it wrong it's Inside I'm Dancing. Duh!
Personally, I'm waiting for Mozart And The Whale. Tis a romantic comedy about two people who, like myself, have Aspergers Syndrome, a form of higher functioning autism. It'll be interesting to see if they have managed to do an accurate depiction of us aspies...
Well I know a couple of people with cerebal palsy and the depiction of this in "Inside I'm Dancing" appeared very accurate (in my opinion).
yeah i watched it i thought it was very sad, i dont like it when people treat disabled people like sub citizens.
its horrible, but i did enjoy the film. would prob watch it again in a few years, i also didnt like i am sam, thats another one which i found really sad.
Inside I'm Dancing

Mozart And The Whale

Both films sound interesting. I shall put them on my list to see!
I work with a young man who has Aspergers Syndrome, he's the most intelligent, funny and sensitive person I have ever known! He loves expressing himself through writing, drawing and making short video;s, one of which has been shown on television last year. Very insightful into his world and how he see's everyone else around him! If its ever shown again look out for it...... its a ten minute short called *within my walls*.
