Yeah, it's viscious down south these days, that's why I moved up north!
Take care out there Venus, we wouldn't want you to get hurt.
Let us know how long you'll be so we can have some idea about when to send out a search party if you don't return on time.
smile
Wimp, some of us have already been out, twice and still have to go out again!!! rolleyes

Ok Venus - me too - I'm gonna face it like a man - I will lend you my coat if I see you Venus - because to go out in this weather dressed like you are in your Avatar..it is most brave - but also most foolhardy madam!

Not a chance......I think he might be one of THEM
It was horrible. The wolves and Polar bears were a picnic compared to what else faced me when I ventured outside........
So outside I ventured, and within minutes I was surrounded blinded by THE MAIN BEAM BRIGADE. Frightened I desperately glanced around, looking for a way out. Finding an atheleticism I never knew I possessed, I saw my chance, I scrambled over the nearest white van, and ran, ran for my life.
Suddenly from the trees, a man dressed in green burst forth, trying to grab me. Army type I think he was, looked a little like Bilko, you know, the one from that cult American comedy show from years back, except this version looked much more sinister. Cold, cold eyes. I didn`t have time to wonder what the strange pod-like extentions on the trees were.
I ran, and ran, falling over regularly as any self-respecting damsel in distress should, yet when I glanced back, the man in green seemed to be gaining on me, even though he was pursuing with nothing more than a determined stride. All the while the eerie sound of an ice-cream van seemed to be following me.
I sprinted across the road, the man in green following me. Suddenly he was hit by an articulated lorry, which crashed into a building, and exploded in flames. I was safe at last! I stopped to gather my strength. To my horror, what should emerge from the flames, but the man in green, except he was no longer green, his clothes were burning, and he seemed oblivious to the pain.
On seeing him naked, I ran, ran as I`ve never run before! :scared:
I finally made it to the shop, covered with scratches and bruises, and in obvious distress. The shopkeepers just looked at me with suspician. The one with the long hair and beard (Timmy, I think his name was) said to me, `This is a local shop, for local people, we have no time for people like you..........`
Sobbing I begged them to let me use thier phone, and on finally registering my distress, they led me into a back room. There on the table was an old-fashioned phone. At last! I would be able to phone for help! Sobbing in relief I picked up the phone........only to find it was hollow!
What was this?! Who were these people?!
On trying to leave the back room, I suddenly realised my exit was cut of by the shopkeepers. They were all smiling serenely at me. `Don`t worry`, they said, `this is a local shop, for local people......you can be local too..........` and they moved aside, letting THE MAN IN GREEN, move toward me.
Bollocks to this I thought, and ran toward the small window at the back. I managed to scramble head-first through the window, feeling my legs being grabbed. They were trying to pull me back in!
But the sheer strength of terror won the day, and I managed to break free. Not before some bugger bit me on the leg though. Hurts like a bugger it does.
Anyway, I`m back home and safe now. All this adventure has given me a hankering for some steak......rare steak.......very very rare..............
Venusxxx
Fantastic that you got home ok, have someone look at that bite on your leg, and apply some antiseptic cream............
Put your feet up and be pampered the rest of the afternoon
