Ok im not exactly sure what happend, i left my pc for an hour for dinner!
kbuk - you couldn't be further from the truth. We are not just a 'fucking ringtone company', we run a LOT of other dating and swinging sites, and yes i do care about the people here, and no we are not here to fleece money at all.
Mentioning the ringtones was possibly a mistake, because 99% of people now think crazy frog, we are simply an online supplier of ringtones, not creaters of that POS so please don;'t read to much into the ringtone side smile

Dino - I did it and I saidit wasn't the new owner doing it. I have removed it to another part of the site where it is intact - however it was clearly in breach of the site AUP and couldn't stand.

Removing of that post was by one of the existing mods, as it says, not to do with me or any of the 'new guys'. Thanks to the mod for that, and well within reason to do so. My reply still stands though, but please can we try to be a little more constuctive with the posts smile

you've got far more responses from people saying they'll suck it and see than you have negative. You have bought a very diverse bunch of people who live and breathe this site. Even telling people to be positive is wrong. This isn't some management team building excercise where you stress the importance of something and we'll all fall into line. Relax.
Sorry you lot feel a bit hurt, but c'mon, you wont be hurt when the Â£Â£Â£'s come rolling in.
If you can't take the flak, as long as it is within AUP's, then you haven't done your homework on who we are. I suggest you do....

There we numerous emails and phone calls between Martin, Steve and Mark in the weeks leading up to this. On the 15th and 16th, Mark spent a couple of days in our office briefing us, and had dinner with Martin and Steve. As you know, he is a really nice, genuine bloke, and everything went fine.

I've been a member of this site for I'm sure is about 4-5 years, and I got my gf 4 years ago, and we registered about 3 years ago, I think we must have set up a new ID about a year or so ago as we're now 31! No idea why it's says we're so new.
Perhaps privatisation will be the answer to this CRM based failing,,,,

Site's only been going for about 3 and a half years. You have been a member since Feb 2005 with your current username. That won't have been changed by anyone.

Yeah i know that and it wasn't the ideal thing to do but he might have reasons?
Maybe he felt to upset to have to let it go and couldn't handel all the pleas for him to keep it himself? I just don't know what to think, I'm just as confused as anyone else...

Mmmmmmmm been thinkin' alot about this.
Cum'on Guys n Gals lets give these here hombres a chance..... at least don't let the forum fall apart by being rude to these Fellas after all they are members as well as owners now.
Being a touch naive they have been monitering SH for about a year now, so how long have they been in talks with Mark? I know it was his site and hard work etc etc and also there is commercial confidentiality to take into account but has no one wondered why no good byes or don't worries from him?
I know you got a little angry before Martin..... but even you must have seen what happend when the Glazers took over Man U. Every one in here is an adult (or better bloody had be) lets act like it.
The best way forward is to see what in detail they are planing and add constructive opinions.
Martin I hope for on your part you DO talk to folk in here and take some not so positive views on board. The worst thing that can happen to this site is to turn into DD's mk 11
or we may all benefit free and paying punters alike. lets not get mad
