HI All,
somthing I need to bring to the attention of the men out there who like me fell for a scam by someone calling themselves
"xxxxxxxxx" and "xxxxxxxxx"
This took place late August / early September and basically was a hoax hotel meet with costs paid for upfront via Paypal.
I have discovered, via my on-line banking service, that it seems they'd actually set-up a direct debit from my current account. Upon checking my statement I now notice that this is the case, thankfully no more funds have been taken and I have deleted the direct debit instruction.
I urge all in a similar position to check their own accounts NOW.
Perhaps a moderator could put a similar notice in the "Women Seeking Men " section.
Thank you - Lol
was this meet arranged on swinging heaven......is this female/females members off swinging heaven...have you been in touch with admin if they are members ?????

So you paid for a hotel via PayPal?? confused :?
Sorry why do I think that all this sounds fishy?? dunno You must have given them access to your bank account as that is the only way for them to set up a direct debit :?
speak to your bank, make them aware of the deception. They should be able to get the money back for you. AND stop it happening to others.

Yep, they can't have set up a DD without his authorisation.
Nobody with any sense would pay for a hotel via Paypal either. rolleyes
should never fill out any details paypal ask for via email as they never do, i'm assuming your recieved a fake paypal invoice which asked you to fill in your details? this is one of many scams used mainly through eBay, im just asumming this of course as you mention both paypal and your bank account? if you didn't then how did they get your account details because you wont get them from recieving a paypal payment?
Why the 2 names? didn't you think it odd if they were using 2 names?
Shouldn't have mentioned the names on forum either.

I would imagine if it's a scam they wont be the people's real names but yep the names shouldn't be there
I think the names came of a record cover. Sorry CD cover.

If these people are/were members of this site, please pm the details to one of the moderators and they can deal with it directly.
