internet meetings

over the last few months people at work have been asking sally(lets call her sally for now) about her love life as she seems to be meeting all these men who taek her out and show her a good time then she blows them out,
anyway it turns out she meets then men through an internet site and everyones asking questions and seems to think "good on her"
but I sat there wondering would they be saing that to me if I told them about my internet meets lol

Hmmm - sounds like she's playing the system and taking advantage of all the suckers out there ... don't blame her as she's obviously getting away with it but I think guys need to wise up a bit to this.
First date - Fish and chips and a can of fizzy and she'll be grateful for that - as my old Uncle Olaf used to say!

Ha ha Kiss_Me who knows,maybe they indulge in it themselves but don't admit it in public!
But I doubt it.
Word's like "disgusting" are used in these discussions.
Sorry my SH friends,call me a cowardy custard but its not a situation where I feel I can stand up and be counted!
These are people I like and get on well with otherwise.
Its just a blinkered,conventional morality talking I suppose?

most of the people that I work with would shag anything they could get there hands on, but talk badly of our lifestyle. I think they would be jealous if only they knew how good it was.

Therein lies the problem. Non swingers don't see that the people who choose this lifestyle are far more sexual health conscious than they the most part we insist on protection, get to know people before having sex and have varied and interesting sex lives.

most of the people that I work with would shag anything they could get there hands on, but talk badly of our lifestyle. I think they would be jealous if only they knew how good it was.
Its interesting that among those I've heared condemn swinging are some who between them have had a fair few partners in recent years and one night stands/holiday seems its the idea of doing it with more than one person at once that shocks them!

It's just down to different lifestyles, those who haven't tried it usually criticise. Bottom line, who care what they think - if it works for you, keep doing it. Also if you can't handle the answer then don't ask the question. Sometimes it's best to keep them guessing and just listen to a lot of narrow minded opinions especially when it comes from some people who have nothing to shout about themselves about their lives.

True,and I did say these are people I like and get on with but some of them are a bit too of the News of the World mindset on swinging!

there is still a lot of misconception about what swinging is like...
with my job I get to travel the country and am in different offices all the time. I know some people in these offices fairly well and they have open discussions. One day someone made a joke about how they didn't really know that much about my love life, apart from I had recently got new girlfriend and had lost weight so my sex life must be great at the moment... someone else in the group made the comment about how I must be going to those kind of parties where you through your car keys in a bowl and go from there..... Made a joke about I'm sure its not like that anymore....
I have no problem with people knowing what I do but with the job I have it is not something I can admit to as it would effect how people look at me and also my career...
Anyway the next time I was in the office... the person who made the car key comment came up to me and asked if I remember the conversation about the car keys... since then they had found out that one of the other members of the office was a swinger.... and from the tone of thier voice they didn't approve... but then went on to say about this cute guy they had seen on the way in and how they would love to get to know them a lot better... (well thats the politte version... I think the phrase was pop their cherry...)

I would suggets it is best to keep quiet ... you will have difficulties day in day out if your "addmission" is taken the wrong way. I remember discussing the fact that I like to see mrs cuk with other men with a flamboyant openly gay friend and he was disgusted ... he was looking for his mr right for a monogomous relationship. Conversely though mrs cuk went on a hen night a couple of weeks ago and found that at least two of her friends are swingers and they had a right old giggle about it.
Isnt the fact that its a little tabbo and not for open discussion part of the attraction?

Absolutely, I often just sit there with a big smile on my face listening to what mundane things people have done over the weekend, it would be nice to see their faces if I told them of my weekend, but like you say, best to keep quiet
