Alex came snuggling up to me in bed and asked "Can I borrow your switch card to get something off the internet for the fancy dress munch?"
In my slumber, I lifted an arm and pointed at my trousers hanging up and made a grunting noise along the lines of "Its over there."
About half an hour later, my slumber turned into wide awake. Did I actually give her my card or was I dreaming????? I rushed over to my trousers and my fears were realised.......the card was missing. I went downstairs all calm and collected i.e. sprinting down faster than a cheetah with a redhot poker up its arse and making more noise than a herd of wilderbeest during a stampede.
"What have you bought?????" I enquired
"Ermmmmm only one thing." Replied Alex
"Just the thing we talked about?"
"Ermmmmmm........well kind of" replied Alex
"What do you mean kind of?" I asked
"Well you know how tricky these internet sites are, don't you?" said Alex
Alarm bells are starting to ring now "What have you done?"
"It wasn't me" she said holding up the card.
"Oh shit" went through my head......"What have you done?"
"The order didn't seem to have gone through...........so I think I have ordered it 4 times."
So after contacting the site and trying to cancel the 4 orders........have to wait until this evening to find out if they have been.........a new order for one item has now been ordered.
Why oh why didn't she just call them in the first place dunno
The thing is.......she says that I am rubbish with the internet

Naughtynymphos.......I think you are right hun
Bluexxxx .......See the funny side????? If I didn't I would be crying with what we manage to get up to lol lol lol
Poor Alex......
I've done it myself... you get to the part where it asks you to pay... you put in your card details and then it either crashes or tells you that you've taken too long processing your order and that you must start again....
I find that ringing the company the next morning and emailing them does the trick... and all is sorted. But don't take the mickey out of Alex.... it is an easy mistake to make.... honest.... lol

Long ago now I learned that there are only 2 rules to a happy and safe internet shopping experience........
ONE Never give naughtynymphos an internet connection and a credit card, and...
TWO NEVER GIVE NAUGHTYNYMPHOS AN INTERNET CONNECTION AND A CREDIT CARD
Obviously I realise that technically that is only one rule, but it's such a big one I always think its worth mentioning twice
