I'm sure there's a few threads about this but to be honest, I can't be arsed searching for them rolleyes
Now I normally shave down below but because of my recent op, I'm finding my skin is uber sensitve and shaving actually hurts redface I'd like to try the creams you can shower off but they all say not for use on genital areas.
Has anyone found a brand that I CAN use safely on sensitive areas?
Good question sorry I can't help!
I would be intrested to know the answer.
Hope you recovery is going well! kiss

Try just plain hair conditioner first I use herbal essences but I think any would do. It leaves the skin feeling soft and silky too.
Teatree lotion is good after waxing and shaving but I don't know in deicate areas I would find out first.

I've always used Tesco shaving gel for ladies with Aloe Vera then slap on some baby lotion - worked for me until recently confused

I did try one on my bits and for the first two times it was great and didn't start to grow back for days .. but on about the 3rd occasion I had a very unpleasant reaction (with blisters) so I stopped using it.

I can't wait that long! It'd be like having the Forest of Dean in my knickers!

You'd be doing your bit for wildlife and the environment
I use Veet cream for sensitive skin. I have tried other creams and they don't do the job as well. You do have to be very careful where you put it, I have had a couple of little blisters near tender areas redface but they soon disappear!
I also recommend lots of shea butter moisturizer (or something similar) afterwards to keep the skin nice and soft.
do i get a bum like that if i use that hib?
lol

I use the one which has aloe and Vitamin E (has a nicer smell!)and leaves me feeling completely smooth.

the rash might be folliculitus ( sp?) which is infected hair follicles, can be treated easily with low dose course of anitbiotics ( and wont cause a resistance to antibiotics either!) see gp!

We use this stuff ... it's fantastic!! I can't praise it enough. I can't shave because of extremely sensitive skin, I've tried everything there is going, but still come out in the most horrendous rash minutes after shaving. A friend recommended this power, and although it's a bit messy, (it's like polyfilla! lol ) the results are brilliant ... super smooth skin. It doesn't stop it growing back as quick as it always did, but once you get the hang of putting it on and taking it off properly, it's a doddle!
Good luck!!

would that happen every time then ?
and it only lasts mayb 3 days at the most then goes, then i shave again and it comes back, id have thought if it was an infection it wouldnt go away ?
also i am on at least one lot of anti biotics all the time and sometimes a 2nd lot !!
thank you for your advice
Forget about creams, lotions, potions and razors and get you man to buy you a laser hair removal course. It is expensive but the results last and once completed the skin looks like it has never had any hair there at all - soft, silky and smooth.
Expensive yes
Value For Money - yes cos you save on creams and waxing
Worth It - Yes Yes Yes
Just a word though it does not work on all hair & skin types. Black, Asian or suntanned skin will not work but if you have a pale skin and thick dark pubes you are onto a winner - it will work a treat.
