Hello all,
As you can see from my signature thingy I have an ad on here. In the short time I have been a member I have recieved a few (not many) responses to my ad... 2 from guys, and 2 from girls.
However I recently recieved a response from someone and I'm feeling a raft of emotions, some of which surprised and shocked me.
The respondant sent me a mail with a picture... a rather attractive looking lady with several physical attributes I would consider important. The mail was well written and contained the following text...
I enjoy socialising with my friends, clubbing, music (especially Country and Western), long walks, romantic dinners and adventurous apres meal sex...
If this appeals then drop me a line and say hi...
Danielle...
P.S. I feel it's important to tell you, but I am a pre-op transexual.

Now, I had thought I was open minded, that I was a well informed and well rounded individual... but reading the mail made my stomach turn and I found it hard not to write back with some pretty hurtful comments.
At first I thought it was something in my ad, maybe the text or even my photos would lead someone to the conclusion that I was into that sort of thing. I was panicking that maybe others saw me that way and had already pre-judged me as that sort of person without me even knowing...
So, I want some help and advice from the people at SH...
Please, reread my ad... look at the pictures an be honest with me...
Do I look like the sort of person who would enjoy Country and Western music?!
mad OH :x FFS :x
Do you see??? It really is type before think week.
And yes it is actually bloody funny rolleyes lol

Perhaps this Danielle was trying to tell you what she likes and it wasnt what you were about.
She was trying to say what shes like so that youd see if she was your sort of thing?
And what do you mean by "that" sort of person?????

Sorry Clare... If u reread 'til the end you'll spot the gag... My fault I think...
Country and Western oo er thats scary

Or perhaps trying both at once!!
Clare - FIMFem extraordinaire! I bow before you.
Clare you really can be a dippy tart at times lol
DaHamsta.... I think you will just have to accept that people will look at your ad and see "Country & Western".... Now I'm sorry if this hurts but hey honesty is the best policy... Your only alternative is to change the pic at the top as I think that is the one that says "Country" the most to me...
Clare..... Sorry babe but you do make me laugh.... :giggle:

Well if you want the truth and this is based on your ad and having exchanged several pms with
Its got to be that rabbit.............people look and think rabbit ...........................country.......................................country and wester Thats my theory, unless they are thinking Willie!!!!
Oi and what’s wrong with country and western?
Call me sad if you want but I like that sort of thing especially John Denver - Country boy
My fantasy is to be in a Western movie as a whore with those really cool outfits and shag a cowboy in his outfit

So this bloke goes into a pub and it's really noisy, he gets a drink and moves to the back of the bar. He says to the man next to him, What's on mate? and he says, "Don't know I'll ask" and turns to the man next to him and says, What's on mate? and gets the reply a Comedian and some Country and Western but it's so noisy he can't hear properly and turns to the first man and says, "He says there's a comedian and some cunt from Heston"
OK, it's better spoken but it is slightly on-topic, just, kind of, OK I'll get my coat...

This thread seems to have lost its point due to some judicious editing, so in my capacity as thread-killer, I hereby post!
Mike.
totally confused (and very tired) is this thread about country and western or an intolerance to TS's?
I hope which ever way you were at least polite in your response.
Im sure that this particular lady would have prefered you to omit her name at least in the quote if you are going to use it in this way.
Have i got the wrong end of the stick? i seem to alot these days. redface

You may rest assured that Danielle is a figment of my vivid, yet warped, imagination... Unlike Nigel, Trevor, Tracey and Ruth who were the other emailers...
er, bugger...
