I hope 50's not too old to swing, we all will be one day (with luck) and I'd hate to think that I have to give up at 49, I'm just getting started!!!!
I tend to go with my own age group (ish) but that is merely because of mutual social interests ie music etc, having said that I have played with older and younger. At the end of the day it's down to attitude not age.

Seems some of you on here subscribe to sex over 50 as asomething odd - unusual - not quite right while others agree that just because you pass that magical big 50 life doesn't stop. In fact many of us over 50s are in our prime.
After all it takes me all night to do what i used to do all night ........... and no complaints from the good friends I have made here on Swinging Heaven! I am in my late 50s and am having a ball, and not just with people around my own age. There's something in the mature and experienced tag younger women sometimes like in their men. Don't knock it until youve tried it.

Happy to report that this is definately NOT so.
If anything Ms Reiki and I are having more fun now than we have had in years, although she has yet to hit the big 50. I like to think that I am a better and more adventurous lover now than I have ever been.
Its taken me 30 odd years (some very odd) to aquire the skills and abilities that I have now and I don't intend to give it all up. Most of our play partners are well over 40, but thats not really a conscious decision, we just have more in common with people in our own age group. With age comes a confidence and a security that flows across into all areas of life.
So there ya go ....50+ and having plenty of fun :swingingchair:
Certainly not too old for swinging, although perhaps not swinging from the chandelier ............
think its more difficult to swing, find people who are happy with a single 50 odd year old especially when there are a lot younger fitter guys about to choose from ??
I can remember getting a mail saying we were too old from a couple..... well the male half lol.. as it turns out we met at a Munch and we have all been best ''friends'' ever since.
Your never too old for anything if your able to do it..... I think most people think older means being boring.. just prove em wrong!

Well I didn't start playing till I was 50! and that was with a 39 year old. To be honest, I'm fighting men off with a stick! But i admit it's probably cos I'm female and young men want older women either as a mother substitute or because of the experience and there are far more men on the scene than women.
Having spoken with playbyte on this, I can see that more mature men have a more difficult time because people see the age and think, ooooo over the hill, But to coin a phrase age is but a number and one of my best swinging buddies is a year old than me.
Probably this isn't the best medium for older swingers because it's a very monochrome situation and once you meet up, you would see how much fun you can have.
And when all said and done -it's about having fun

The problem with people especially within the U.K is that we are told/programmed that having Sex after a certain age is demeaning / wrong.
I believe that this is wrong as my basic knowledge of Science is that continuing to think about Sex (Erotic) or even doing the act gives you a longer life – ‘put’s petrol in the engine’.
So I say NO; if you can get your leg over then keep bouncing if it’s 18 or 80…
Let’s get the party stated because England just cannot take penalties so we need to keep a smile on our faces.
