as a single male am finding it more difficult to find people willing to swing with an over 50 guy , coupes and single girls seem ok over 50 is few and far between or am i wrong. prop unerstandable given the amount of younger guys on here .....

That comment is true if you are 20, 30, 40 or 50.
I admit the average age of swinging does seem to be 35 to 40 and the general feeling to swing with someone in your own age group..... but..... it;s the 1000 to one ratio of single guys to wiliing couples/single females thats the problem. Winning the lottery springs to mind lol

hi i reached that milestone of 50 last year and i am now more active than i have ever been going to the gym walking the dog and of course indulging in other activities

I can't undertstand this obsession with the number 50. It must be a British thing! How else can I explain men who are nearing 50 or have just passed it writing to me telling me they have their own hair and teeth and things like that? 50 is young nowadays! So stop feeling sorry for yourselves men, it is not the end of the world, you are still desirable and able to please biggrin

What can you do? Kids left home (we are a post 50 couple) we were having a great time making our house a love nest. The Cava flowed, bought some toys, did some dressing up and role play - we loved it cool

THEN THE KIDS CAME BACK!!!!! rolleyes

I dont think 50+ is a problem its all in the mind if you feel young you are young, i am not 50+ but am 33 but i find that the older lady i get on better as i can have a desent confo with them and i find them very

Well I am 50+ and I have to turn would be playmates away as I just don't have the time to see all those men who want to see me.
As for older men ... my long term lover was 60 this year. My most recent lover is younger than me biggrin

I've just been speaking with a woman from my gym who has just turned 50. She keeps herself in geat shape and if she were a swinger I would definitelky not turn her way from my door.
I think it's all about presentation, not age.

I'm 40 and keep getting told i'm too old, infact only this morning a 34 year old lady said I was too old. Why should I choose an old man when I can have a young hunk, were her words. Its a dog eat dog world and I will always go for youger men she added.
Rather ironic when her partner is 39 I thought but I was polite as usual and didn't want to point this out. Instead I wrote a short email as follows :
" In 6 years time you'll be as old as me. I really do hope you do not have to suffer the indignity of being told your too old.
To imply that someone is in some way inferior because of their age shows a total disregard for that person. If looks are all you have and youth your mainstay, then one day when your looks have faded and your youth has passed - what will you have ?
You say its a dog eat dog world and it belongs to the young, with an outlook such as that you must look to the future with fear and dread instead of with hope and enthusiasm.
Be lucky, have a good life and try your best not to get old, lest the young mock your years ! "
A little naughty perhaps ? I try not to judge people by their age for age is just a number, a lady I know that is 54 is just as frisky and fun as any 20 something you care to mention. She may well have been written off as too old by some but I can assure you their myopia means they are the ones missing out.
Is 50+ too old ? Hell no.............only in the eyes of the shortsighted and uneducated. cool

i have nothing against 50+ people swinging, hey i say go for it peeps.
however, i personally would not like to 'swing' with anyone over 45, my mum is only 51 if you get my point!!

I'm sorry to hear that she was so rude and silly - as I mentioned before I have been told I'm too young etc. What goes around comes around, try not to dwell on it and move on and hopefully you will meet like-minded people who understand that it's attitude and not age that defines most people.
Karma probably dictates that she will be lusting after some 'young hunk' who will tell her she is too old... wink

Think when the 50 + mark is hit ,a lot of people get into... the my parents are that age mode and could be off putting .Got to admit though have never had a reply saying to old like jb71 did and him being soooo young rather rude and hurtful i think ...... did enjoy his reply though lol. The 50+have a lot to offer both knowledge and experience ... all that i know of this age group are young thinking as somone said we are the nw 40s .
