There are a multitude of reasons why people will hide their online status in the forums.
Personally, I was being pm`d by the same person every time I signed in to the point that it started to weird me out !!! rolleyes

Now I have my online status hidden, I`m being refered to as a troll !!!! :shock:

Speaking as an expert <<<<<<<<<<<, I thought trolling was someone just setting out to wind people up - a very easy thing to do on a forum.
Posting the same thing over and over again in one place or lots of places is spamming innit? dunno
