As the white half of an interracial couple, i've always wondered why so many couples on the scene are looking for a Black Guy ...
Is it a fetish or is it that its just something they fancy??

Very few people will meet with just anybody and there are over a million registered users. Being straight cuts it down to maybe half a million (I'm guessing it's a roughly 50:50 split) so then what do you do?
I guess most people have a range of preferences - my own include: male (mostly), tall (mostly), intelligent - or not thick (always), great personality (mandatory), clean (of course), sober (optional), stamina (useful), black (well anything from coffee to mocha - mostly). It's all about applying the preferences you have to limit your choices or you'd be in the ads section for the rest of your life.
My point is, any one of those could be considered a fetish. But it can only be a fetish if it isn't considered 'normal'in the first place. Whereas a preference for a different gender or a different height is so 'normal' it never gets called a fetish.
So calling it a fetish says a lot more about our (ie humans) cultural/social maturity than it does about the people involved. I would suggest it indicates it is rather less well developed than we (general population) would like to believe.

To be honest with you as i think everyone else has said it is neither a fetish or kinky to go out with someone of a different colour.

When we used to go to a swingers club regularly a few years back, the black guys were very popular. The general consensus was that for a lot of white women it was a bit naughty, which is where the buzz came from.
In real life I do not know if white women have a preference other than they just liked the guy, regardless of his colour.

I don't know where the line is drawn between fetish and personal choice. Or even if there is a line as every fetish surely is a personal choice, even if you choose to be totally submissive to someone else?
I just think it is, very simply, that a lot of ladies find black guys a turn on. Whether it is because it is perceived they may have bigger bits and bobs or just look sexier in general or indeed are just a little "different" to the norm, I am not sure. It may be a combination of any or none of these.
If it is a fetish, it seems a common one. It'd be interesting to see if in any other culture, vaguely foppish, mildly embarrassed, semi-literate, pale blue-skinned, binge drinking, burberry wearing, white blokes are in demand. I somehow think not and I cannot for the life of me think why.
