but do a lot of the ads sound like a list of demands ? confused

i am very new here but lurked for quite a while , but to me some of the ads sound very , demanding , must have this must be this , i wonder if this is where i am going wrong with my own ad (102415) would any longer term memembers like to comment i am open to suggestions on my ad too biggrin

If you read earlier threads you wil see that the girls get shedloads of replies , a lot from chancers mad

. So they put up some hurdles to thin out the eager applicants , and ensure they get what they want , sometimes this is a bigger dick than I've got . So I guess its a coping mechanism , that may help them get exactly what they want . I have no problems with this and hope that all concerned get lots of excellent recreational sex lol

Yes, Chaz, I agree, some people are incredibly narrow in their stated requirements. But there's absolutely nothing anyone can do, they just have to learn by experience to be a bit more flexible, or miss out - unless they are incredibly lucky. It's a free country, and there's no point in trying to point out to them how restricting they are being, they just have to find that out for themselves.

flipper , i apreciate what you are saying the ladies must get a shedload of replys, i suppose by being more selective this must weed out lots of singel men , but unless the rest of us genuine ones come across as a " bad boy " how do we stand a chance ?

No point lying about your girth unless you're planning to have penis-enlargement surgery between now and any possible meet. smile

I have no idea what the answer is for getting any kind of satisfaction from replying to women's ads though, and I replied to well over a hundred of the dratted things. It might be a better idea to concentrate your efforts on your own ad. Try to make it stand out from the crowd; I think you need to put a little bit more of yourself into it. Maybe something about your hobbies, or your personality, or even your opinions on something-or-other. (I'm a big fan of the latter.) Try to be conversational and draw the reader in to be interested in you; try to shy away from lists. (E.g. _not_ "I listen to Dido, Eminem & Elvis Presley. I watch Daezel & Pascoe, The Kumars and My Family.") Sorry to say this, but no woman's going to bother mailing you to find out about you when she can just click on the next guy's ad and find out more about _him_.
P.S. On the original subject, I agree, most women's ads are a huge turn-off. They read like a shopping list and are about as sexy as one; it's rare any of them reveal anything seductive about the person behind the words.

I must say, I've been a little intrigued by this...
A lot of the ads state that they are only interested in people with greater than 8 inches.
That makes up less than 1% of the male population (and an even smaller % of the female population, I would hope biggrin

).
As soon as you multiply that by some of the other requirements such as black men only, must be between 25-35 etc, make allowances for that fact that you won't find EVERYONE who fits into your definition attractive (although I may be wrong here - perhaps these criteria are all the advertisers care about ? ), and the geographical spread of the advertisers, you're restricted to a fraction of a percent of the population.
Even if the readership of the ads is 50,000 men, the advertisers are probably going to find very few people who fit the bill...
Which means one of three things:
(a.) These 'demanding' advertisers get hardly any suitable responses (in which case you'd think they'd probably loosen up their demands a little)
(b.) The advertisers aren't quite as fussy as they make out,
or
(c.) There are 10 men somewhere in the country who are getting an AWFUL lot of action...

roger743, thanks for the advice will have to re do my ad , my point when doing it was to think that it would be enough to stimulate curiosity and the fact that no picture was req and i would reply to all , re thinking time perhaps

i do understand what you are saying and have just amended my ad so heres hoping , posting in a forum is much like sending a text sometimes the words can be really mis-understood and taken completly out of the context that they were written , you know what i mean
