Mine wasn't a very pleasant experience but it wasn't intended to be. Compared to my friends I was a bit of a "late starter". Not that I hadn't had opportunities, it was more the fear factor. Because of this I chose to lose my virginity on a one night stand with someone I didn't care about. I din't want to be with someone I loved in case it all went horribly wrong and ruined the relationship.
I was drunk, it was my birthday and we were on someone's doorstep while his mates waited round the corner. And he had a reputation for being very well endowed.
It was horrible but I don't really regret it. I just wanted my first time over and done with and I succeeded in that.
I can remember his name, what he looks like and when, a few weeks later, he rang me to ask if I'd been for an AIDS test. Nice.
