Obviously leaving out people from ... East Anglia where it is commonplace

We know two couples who have met members of their family while at clubs (fortunately in the bar area), actually witnessing one of the occasions, which was amusing for the onlookers but not quite as funny for the participants.
It made us think about why several members of the same family were playing in a fairly secretive and minority sport. Is a predisposition to swinging genetic or is it something to do with upbringing? We have no evidence to suggest that any of our siblings play, but it wouldn't be a total surprise if we found out that they did. We both think our upbringing should have kept us on the path of righteousness.
So is it genetic?
Obviously leaving out people from East Lancs or East Anglia where it is commonplace, how widespread is the incidence of several members of a family being swingers?

I think my parents know I'm a swinger but they haven't said anything... yet!
I know they wouldn't be shocked coz they know I'm an open minded kinda person but to say it's genetic??. not so sure about that ... I think being brought up in a liberal environment might have something more to do with it.
