Hi All We are wondering that swinging is legal. Just we have met few cpls on talking level and we are thinking to move on to next level. But we are wondering that swinging or finding someone to share with us is legal. I know dogging is not legal but if anything happens in private property – is it legal? Any law enforcing agency can pose as couple or single person and cause any legal headache? We are new to this any advice welcome. Thanks

find it hard for swinging to legal but having sex why camping is ,we got charging with fooking withintent naw serious if was illegal like said b4 site wad of been closed

If you are inviting the general public or anyone right off the street to your home or club, this can be considered as operating a common bawdy house. There is no law we know of that limits the number of personal friends you can invite to your home or a private party! Keeping your club closed to the public is paramount, otherwise anyone off the street could just walk in. As an example all strip clubs or bars are open to the public and anyone can enter the club right off the street. Swing clubs are not open to the public! There are many different types of clubs and you must apply for membership or pass different screening processes in order to be invited to join the private club. Membership at swing clubs is a privilege and not a right!
I'm a little concerned about a couple of comments made & just want to clarify. Paying for sex is NOT illegal. Prostitution is NOT illegal. However, there are certain facets of said profession eg soliciting & kerb crawling which are illegal. :thumbup:
If you are married you would be committing adultery regardless of the fact that all of you have agreed to be swingers. If either of you filed for divorce on the grounds of commiting adultery it would still be a legal claim. A claim has to be filed within six months of knowing about the adultery. After that time it is deemed that the adultery has been accepted by the partner. So if you partner does not actually do anything at your swinging session, start worrying! :P

True for adults. Not true for non adults ! Paying a minor (16-18) for sex is illegal.

:shock: I think you can still be busted on a bike, certainly a motorcycle. Its the offence not the transport. And they can still have your car, even if you're not using it !

In the dim and distant past sex out side of marriage was illegal. On the whole this law has never been changed. It remains a bit like Christmas pudding, illegal, but no one enforces it. So yes swinging is illegal, so is cheating, sex the night before marriage etc. Then again no one will arrest you for it. Funny old world, yes?

I thought about that too. There must be some clause in the Doomsday Book about it. Possibly the Magna Carta.........

No the doom's day book is just a set of tax returns, sorry the best plan extortion racket ever. The Magna Carta is basically England's bill of rights, with some weights and measures thrown in. No we can thank the church and Normans for the control of sex. Doomed to fail!
