Dont always accept the tag is meant to be worn. Like in a new job, you always seem to stick out like a sore thumb. Alienation is part of ANTHING new? if some do bend your nose, then dont go for everyones throat and remember not everyone is on right now, and they will accept you as long as you go by the rules? EVERYONE on here has been a newbie, so you are not original in your thoughts of strangeness or that maybe you are different? just chill out and take it as it comes ok..oh and welcome ok?
There are also many regular threads where new members are welcomed with open arms. I was such a member. We were all newbies once. What I didn`t realise when I first joined up is the huge amount of new members who join up in the hope for an instant shag, and post that they want to attend munches....often for an instant shag! Check out the member list and post counts, it gives a very good idea the number of people who do this. Click on a few profiles with very few posts, and I`m confident you will get an idea of what I`m talking about.
I`m sorry you feel this attitude off putting, but it does have a very real basis. Compare your observation with the amount of welcoming posts, and you might find it`s not really an `attitude` at all.

Everyone is new at some point.
Unfortunately people cant get to know you instantly and that takes a bit of time,just relax and enjoy it,you cant make a judgement about others on here that you dont know quite so quickly either,take a look back at the old threads,theres loads of em there and youll see,were all newbies once!

Ain't ignoring you,, hadn't been going trough the threads with any intentional thought of ignoring anybody...
The thing is the topics come in thick and fast sometimes especially recently seems to be more than usual??? however just join into the main running threads and then when you're recognised then the threads will grow surely...

I never said or implied you were moaning or the likes, just to see where it takes you. Being open and yourself is great news for your inner self, and takes guts to be that person both on here and in the real world? You be YOu, and that is how it should be. if you have any problems then as a mod to sort things out. EVERYONE has posted something they regret, and upset someone they did not wish to do so to, but then life is like that as you know?

OMG, you've only been here three days! I Sometimes still feel I'm on the fringe of this group after eight months and over 600 posts. It just takes time to get to know people here, and for them to get to know you. Some people are better at becoming part of the group than others are, also some want to become part of the group in very differing ways to the ways others do. This group may on first impressions seem cliquey, and there are indeed some in-jokes, and some people who have got to know certain others very well, but it is in fact very welcoming of all types of people. And don't feel you've got to conform on any way, e.g. by using lots of wacky emoticons - I hardly use any. Plain and simple, that's me - erm, I mean my posts!

I know what you mean, but what actually constitutes a regular? Ive been around since the site had about 95 members!!
However Im not someone who will talk or write just for the sake of it, therefore my posting rate isnt very high. What do i do talk crap just for the sake of hearing myself speak or carry on making comments only when i have something to say?
I shall continue to do the latter and remain an outside except to those i know!!
Dont let otheres deter you, with more voices and more differences opinions this board will grow is nothing more boring than seeing the same old faces saying the same all dribble!!

:wink: Personally i think post count really means nothing,quite often you can say hi and welcome to 10 or 20 peeps in a few weeks,i personally think that post count is irrellevent,perhaps only your original threads shoud be counted but thats just my opinion.
For instance my post count means nothing,till last week it was shared with my other half!!!
