Is this a mans fault?

This artical I found today, says that women put on weight when they hit the " comfort " zone in a relationship.

I know us guys get the blame for most things, but not this....or are we?
I have known women who before they were married, were slim and looked lovely. Fast forward ten years they are at least 3 dress sizes bigger, and dont seem to bother like they used too.
Have the men in their lives worn them down? Or is it just a case of not being so bothered like you was ten years before? dunno
The same maybe could be said for guys who before marriage were tonned, only ten years later to have a beer belly, and does not shave for a week. lol
Is this artical true, and could the same be said about men?
Do we let ourselves go the older we get? :dunno:
It is absolutely a mans fault. I can tell wor lass that there is no need for us to diet. We can blame it on men... any men. wink

Mrs777 might well agree but....seeing as this is MY thread lol I have to disagree Splendid.
Are there no such things as self control in a womans world?
That was a joke for all the people out there, whose faces were going red.

rolleyes I was actually being pedantic about your assumption that all relationships are heterosexual.
I shall carry on blaming men.
I defiantly put on weight after children, you normally need a man to do that. rolleyes
So I would say yes it’s the mans fault!
lol

So what about when the kids reach teenagers and she is still overweight?
Is that still the guys fault?
Yep men are to blame for everything lol
oh and by comparison if my fella has a beer gut and only shaves once a week before I marry him will he turn into an adonis after the wedding??? :giggle:

Probably not Kate...he will get a bigger belly and longer whiskers.
We are men -- so it must be our fault !!!
Unless you want to move this over to the "blame Deancannock" thread -- then we can say its all his fault lol

Must be men's fault because women are always right :smug:
Yep definitely men’s fault…..
They run us down so that we are so knackered that we haven’t got time to do
Personal experience……. It’s just that you get stuck in a rut, not do anything new, just the same old same old…… lack of excitement in ur life and lack of sex!!!!!!
When me n my x finished I ended up loosing 3 stone… and felt so good…… even better than I did before I ever met him!!!!!
Or..............
We could just blame Dean.........

To be fair to 777 that's what the article is predicated on - so it wasn't his assumption but the result of the survey.
I know of some women who have seriously lost weight as a result of having children - so it's a +/- metabolism thingy, innit.
Men, of course, are to blame for all of this.
.
You can easily counter this through sex. Just make sure she does the work. So lie down, get her on top of you, grab a newspaper and let her work.
Obviously, this means it is the man's fault. If she says "but I prefer doggy" and you let her have her will instead of telling her 'I know where that leads ..' ... what do you expect? wink
Has anyone done a study on unmarried women to see if they are fatter and less attractive after 10 years as well?
Personally i'm around the same weight ,( within half a stone or so ) as ive always been and always do my hair and make up every day . Hubby says i look beautiful whether im fat or thin , feel great or have flu and feel crap. Perhaps i should congratulate him on keeping me well preserved ? surprised

Well girls, how many of us still look good? How many of us have pics on their profile? How many of us spend time in nailbars, hairdressers, legwaxing salons............ I could go on and on. I'm often disappointed when we look at profiles and for dear Mr JB there's a beautiful girl involved in the couple and then oh dear, look at what the guy is like! Life sucks sometimes.
Having said that though we're not shallow(yeh, right!)

the only way i can blame a man is that i had 2 consultants who were male who refused to give me an hysterectomy 7 years ago. if they had i would now be the size i want to be instead of having to wait another 5 years to start!
whips

How would having an hysterectomy help you to lose weight?
actually, having pondered on this one I had another thought. Surely the question should have been: Is there anything that isn't a mans fault?
Clearly the answer is no. lol

Have you tried hospital food recently?
I stayed slim and fit...my husband turned from a toned adonis to a fat knacker and blamed me for it...it was my fault for cooking food that was too yummy. So glad I'm single now...no one to whinge and whine about lovely food...I can just enjoy it to myself !! ;)
