LAST Monday I asked DD to tidy her room, should have been a 20-30 minute job, it wasn't too bad by her standards but I didn't want it getting any worse.
She finished it this maorning!!!!!!!!!!

There was me this morning thinking i can't wait till they go back to school, when my daughter aged 7 offers to help me with the dusting claiming she loves housework, (you could never tell by the mess of her bedroom). I carry on cleaning then start to do the hoovering only to hear her fighting with my son aged 3, they were arguing over who wanted to fo the hooving! bless them

I`m not sure any gap is ideal! The two girls we had close together for company etc, but now they are teens it`s a nighmare, and the sibling rivalry really set in when we had the boy, they never seemed as close (although I`m sure they are)
The boy however just constantly gets into thier faces. It was nice to have the gap, as when the girls were at school, it was like having our first child again. So good to be able to give one on one attention, but the girls can be so rotten to him at times.
Of course at other times they can be entertaining and responsible, and make great babysitters!
