I've finally arrived

Now this post won’t mean a great deal to a lot of our newer members but bear with me here.
THIS post marks my 1000th on SH.
Not a huge amount when we look at the likes of some of our stalwarts but it’s major milestone for me!!
I know now that I have finally made it on SH, why? Well let me tell you………
The search button on here is littered with examples of people, nae Gods, who have had threads named after them, Dawnies shower pics, the DaveJ avatar challenge and Jags shiny happy thread to name a few,
Two nights ago I joined this hallowed hall of fame when I had my very own thread, dedicated to little old me, appear on the Forum!!
Now you may have missed it, in fact it only warranted three replies BUT, and this is the important bit, it was special to me and for that I am truly grateful to the young man who started it.
So I wish you all well, the old and dear friends I have made through my thousand posts, the new friends I continue to make and those I have yet to meet.
May your swinging be plentiful and your friendships long (unless of course you are only here for the shags, which is fine as well, My PM button is down at the left!!)
And I hope that you may all feel happy and welcome enough to post ‘til you are at least a thousand old

Ah... THAT thread! It still exists Laird and is immortalised in the nether regions of the site in a deep dark place reserved for such articulate posts.
As for you... I don't often do this, but many congratulations for your persist posting, bringing some form of light and advice to people and loads of shite to others.

oh bollocks another one of those rare occassions when I come out of my little bubble to say a genuine 'well done that man' Your another one of the guys and gals I've a huge respect for laird cos you kinda understand the place and the people in it. I do hope that you wont stop at 1000 and will continue to drop by now and again, in fact I insist unless you want me running around your chat room knocking on all the doors and being a pain in the arse.
