Ah memory.
A good rule of thumb is don't mix and match as it can cause spurious problems (lock ups etc). Note the word can you may be OK you may not.
Installing memory. If you really must mix and match put the slowest memory in the the first slot (usually marked DIMM0).
During P.O.S.T. (as your computer starts) the total amount of memory should be displayed. In your case this should be 384MB (or 393216)
The Board you've got is suitable for memory up to 133 therefore only buy memory which specifically states 133 ( ). That link will also give you more information on memory speeds and types.
Quick question (well, I can't stand techno websites!)... I have a Dell laptop, with a 64Mb ATI card onboard... can I upgrade the video memory... Any ideas?
If it is using shared memory you maybe able to allocate more memory to it in the BIOS.
