Well... regardless what everyone else's opinions are.. I think by doing what she's doing so publicly, she's probably saved thousands of lives by hi-lighting it this way. Maybe even a member of your family's or a close friend! So she may have helped alot of you personally in the future so you don't lose your loved one's.

and that for me is the main point of all....like it or not this type of thing and doing it so publicly can and does save lives in the long run...
look at Kylie Minogue as an example.... when she had her scare with Breast Cancer...screening rates in both the UK and Australia shot up! How many people do you think that gave the jolt to to get it sorted... or to even get screened in the first place....
if it saves just one life... then I am absolutely all for the publicity
how many lives do you reckon that may have saved?

I don't care or have an interest why she's doing it (not up to date with it all anyway). Just hope its a quick, pain free death as possible and her family manage to spend time with her, saying goodbye in the way they/she wants to.
I would wish the same for others no matter who they are...

What makes me laugh is how a year ago no a single person had a good word to say about her, the papers hated her and took every chance they could get to pull her down pysically and mentally, the public didnt like her, noone i knew ever said oh i saw that jade in the papers today nice woman lol.....she was loud mouthed, arrogant and self opinionated to the point of being offensive, now all of a sudden its poor jade, brave jade.....and this is from the people who only months ago wouldnt have stamped on her if she was on fire, she still the same person why does having cancer all of a sudden make you likable? if i had to be dying before anyone had a good word to say about me i'd sooner them keep their pity thanx smile

The lone voice of reason once again naughtynymphos1. I've kept out of this because I agree totally with what you've just said, but didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to be treated like the spawn of the devil as I have been in the past.

Have we lost the way so much that we can not have genuine care and concern for a fellow human being, who ever they are, when facing such a challenging time in their life?
Some of these posts have frankly amazed me!
We may all well of had friends and family members who have had or are dealing with cancer now (I have), I personally would of thought that would give us a genuine understanding of the pain that Jade is going though, and to have more empathy towards her, and what ever she is doing in the public eye, and not to judge her so harshly.

You have to read my whole post there to take it into perspective that part is just the end to the rest.
I don’t think through any of my threads or posts you will see I have implied anything, I have always written about my own experiences for others to read. I know in that way I bare myself, something I am not afraid in doing, I have also admitted in threads my thoughts are unjust or wrong but I don’t see right or wrong.
I think some people could read anything into what we write, finding implication where there is none

Bottom line and cutting out all the crap, she is only 27 with two young kids.
She must be going through a nightmare situation, where the end result will be an untimely death. Leaving behind the two kids she obviously adores.
If anyone cannot show a bit of compassion for that awful situation, whether you know that person or not, is quite frankly, a very poor show.
I have come across all kinds of attitudes and opinions on this forum, but none have made me feel more angry and saddened, by the fact that seeing a person going through this, cannot show an ounce of compassion or sympathy.
I am amazed at that to be honest.
