Just filling in a new job application and would welcome some help. I have got to the part that says reason for leaving, now I think that if I put " for more money" or "to further my professional career" all sounds naff. Any one got any ideas?
You have much more to give than you are able in your current position confused
You want to stretch yourself and gain more experience :?
You want knew and exciting options?
Not enough free time at my present job to spend on the internet?" wink
Sozz 3rd !! xx
P.S He is a friend, I am allowed to snipe at him, really!!

:lol2: :haha: rotflmao
I was very good at getting the jobs I thought I wanted when I was foolish enough to think I wanted them by answering questions in the way they needed to be answered. So...........You could give em bullshit.
These days I try to answer honestly on the basis that I dont want to be in an environment that requires me to pretend to be what I am not day after day after day after day after..... (A sure route to unhappiness)
Good luck.
Thanks! biggrin no really thanks, such a help!
Minx have yet to slide my tackle anywhere near your legs yet but quite happy to get a groin injury from trying :P
If you left for a new job, it's perfectly acceptable to put "Reason for leaving - better pay and prospects."
I like to go with......
My position became untenable when I finally realised the depth of my contempt for my colleagues.
LOL stag
Have u been reading my CV at
So 3rd man....
What did you write?
Have you got an interview for the post?
Do you still need any tips?
wink
Not sure if this is too late, but when I read it I reached for a couple of books I got when I last changed jobs ( only done it once since leaving school, so I needed all the help I could get! )
One of the books says if you don't have a rational reasonable reason, use one of these, apparently an employment industry formula known as CLAMPS
Challenge: you weren't able to grow professionally
Location: the journey to work was unreasonably long
Advancement: you had talent but there was too much other talent ahead of you
Money: you were underpaid for your skills and contribution
Pride/Prestige: you wanted to be with a better company
Security: the company was not stable
Follow up yet 3rd man??
