A former american friend of mine argued this with her husband. He wanted the kids cut but she was saying she didn't want them done without a sound medical reason.
Just because a man may appear to be clean under the foreskin, there will always be germs which cant be removed. Apart from the other reasons people may give, there is one which normally scares the p155 out of men.
Its penile cancer.
Although this is rare, it can lead to a situation where a man has to decide whether to have his entire penis removed, or face death. I can put some photos of a man who's had a penilectomy (if its allowed), but trust me- it looks gross.
However penile cancer is almost non-existent in men who are cut. So I'm glad to also be cut and would also want my sons getting cut. Not just for cleanliness, but to make it almost impossible that they will ever be faced with having to agree to have their entire penis chopped. I think the sacrifice of abit of (sometimes) problematic skin is well worth near certainty that you won't ever get penile cancer. You could nearly eradicate penile cancer, all you'd need is to circumcise men. And it wasn't painful geting circumcised, like going to the dentist.
Also women who have sex with cut men, are significantly less likely to have cervical cancer than women who have sex with uncut men. (true virgin females being nearly fully proected against cervical cancer.).
So ladies, if you want a bloke who won't need his bits chopped off, and also has a significantly reduced chance of causing cervical cancer. Get it cut!

According to the BMA, there is a statistical link between cervical cancer and a virus which lives in smeg. They also say that the incidence of cervical cancer in jewish women is lower than in the general population. I looked for info on muslim women but couldn't find any, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a similar story.
Anyway, the thing is, although I don't necessarily think an uncircumcised penis is inherently less clean, I assume it's harder to keep clean, so lazy men who are not cut would be more risky than lazy men who are.
Personally I think an unclothed knob is much more aesthetically pleasing. Not that I'm biased or anything.

got cut about a year and a half ago coz the foreskin was to tight and kept tearing so eventually got it removed.
they say you loose sensativity but its still as sensative as before, and feels a hell of alot better.
not the most plesent experience and thank god i never have to go through that again but well worth it.

Thats the common misconception- that cut guys become less sensitive.
Most of the nerve receptors that give blokes the sensations during sex are located on the underside of the penis, just below the tip. They are not located on the foreskin, so being cut doesnt diminish sensations.
This is why men with premature ejaculation problems are advised to use the stop and pinch technique where they withdraw and pinch the underside of the knob, near the tip.
