Zere is somfink intevesting herein. I vont to know vie zee Sargeant is drifink a Panzer Vaggon. It eez very clearly marked as zo, zee Iron Croitz is clearly displayed on zee Panzer at zee end of most of his postings. :shock:
I fink zis is taking EEC relations a bit too far. Vot is wrong vith hafink an Englander Panzer Vaggon displayed. confused

Can ve haff an explanation pleez.

Well spotted. I wondered who would be the first, and it was you!!
Have you seen the Swinging Heaven Defence Budget? It runs to Tank X 1 for the use of.
I started off with this little run around :
but found that nobody would take me serious, so when the MOT was due I traded it in for this beauty: from the local Mercedes Dealers. The fact it was German meant I received an EU Grant towards buying it, thus keeping the cost within the Defence Budget, leaving a few quid left over for restocking the fridge in the GFZ!!!

I think you changed to the new improved machine just after I joined the site (I'm not suggesting that was wholly the cause, mind!) and I remember thinking that the Mk I Bilkomobile reminded me of a Matilda for some reason.
One day... one happy day will see me parking one of these machines in my least favourite parking spot in London, just to see the council vulture-wardens try to clamp the thing!

My Family dropped the 'Von' when they came here as economic migrants sometime around AD750. There is no record of my surname in England earlier than that. I understand my ancestors were Saxon, and they found the Celts didn't like the heels being clicked whenever my ancestors met with one of them, so we stopped doing that as well.
I understand the locals hereabouts are almost willing to accept us provided we keep out noses clean for another few centuries.
Getting accepted by the local population is a time consuming affair, they aren't even on speaking terms with the Normans yet. lol
